Just finished and the ninjas and their freaken onions were out in full force. I thought the first one was an incredible gem but always felt the ending left you without closure but now it ended in such a great way. Oh maaaan the feels bus ran me over with no mercy. 10/10 for sure.

There is a new one that just came out; Planeterian: The Stargazer

Its pretty much a sequel to the first with a lot of recap though, but a lot of new content as well.

...Ur talking about the movie that came out last September, Hoshi no Hito (Man of the Stars)

Watched that in Chiba City, Japan while I was there last Aug/Sep; is good. Concludes the story.

Still no "Ninjas/Onions" in it, like ye suggested. Perhaps, a metaphorical reference. And it is spelled Planet*arian, no 2 e's. Did you watch a Japanese Bluray import or something? Or illegal steam? Wasn't aware it made a US release.

BTW, for people confused; the Main Character of originalseries is the old guy in the movie. The story revisits the ONA through series of flashbacks. He dies in the end, of course. The ending is like cut/paste of the ending to the movie Titanic. But no matter...

Haha! Yes the link a friend sent me to watch it, was kind of shady. She did tell me it was new, I guess she meant new to the site.

Thanks for the clarification.

Although, I do highly recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the original. I felt it was a well done sci-fi story.

As for the spelling, I was into my fourth IPA when I wrote it at 1am.
