My most anticipated anime of the season is finally here <3
With all the hype going on around it, I feared it wouldn't live up to it; but boy oh boy if it's good!
Top animation, chara style and personalities, seiyuu, music. I can't find a single fault in it so far.
That intro alone almost killed me with feels, and getting to that point will surely not be easy. I found it weird that they put the prologue at the end; but it looks like in the LN is at the start. So they pulled a Boruto (to name one) with the start, which I'm totally fine with.
I can already see SukaSuka becoming one of my very few favourite anime and hope for the LNs to be brought over here at some point.
Ahhh why won't next Tuesday come already T_T

Episode 1

And this show breaks the stereotype of shows with ridiculously long names that this show has. Things are pretty much in a setup stage as Willem starts his new life working for the military as he's the last man standing, and the armory that he goes to happens to be filled with women and children and they are his weapons that he will be using to fight those monsters that eradicated humanity. While things felt pretty slow, the show is setting itself for big things to go down. I'm liking the direction this show is going.

First episode was pretty interesting. Vibes sometimes reminded me of Izetta the Last Witch tho, hope this one is better.

I take it back when I said Clockwork Planet was giving me Nier:Automata vibes.

Humanity wiped out? Human life form replaced with creatures instead? Foreboding atmosphere? Yeah this is reminding of Nier: Automata. I'm in.

Of the six or so animes I have checked out so far this season, only SukaSuka and Sakura Quest have been insta-faves for me.

This show starts slow, but uses its time to develop a tone, an atmosphere, and a world that is intriguing and draws you in. The mysteries make you want to stick around to find out exactly what is going on, and the characters are instantly loveable.

Obviously they could drop the ball and the show could wind up sucking, but from the strengths of the premiere I'm expecting big things from this series.

I'm in.

So the last human is hired to take care of a bunch of Leprechauns, who are apparently some kind of living weapons. Seems interesting enough.

I'm guessing "Chtholly" is supposed to be Irish or Celtic sounding or something, but I can only hear "Cthulhu." Wait, what if... Holy plot twist, Batman, what if the Leprechauns are actually the Great Old Ones?! *headcanon intensifies*

Pretty interesting setting. I'm curious as to what exactly lead to the demise of humanity, and Wilhelm is the last of his kind? The ending credits said 526 year ago. Was Wilhelm hibernating through all that or humans just have different life spans in this universe?

Looking forward to knowing more about this world and its characters.
