I've been reading manga here and there for about 2 years. That being said I haven't read a ton of manga in that time and only recently started regularly reading.

The stuff I've read recently being Vagabond, Gantz, Battle Angel Alita, and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (I know it's not a seinen).

Please give me some suggestions. Also if it happens to be in color bonus points.

You want action seinen and you aren't reading Berserk??!??!?!?!

Also JoJo's is indeed a seinen, at least now it is.

I'm not ready for the daunting task of reading berserk, I already watched the anime i heard that it's like 13 volumes. After I've been away from the series long enough I'm going to start reading it. I would pickup where the anime left off but from what little i read I can tell it wasn't a loyal enough adaptation for that.

About JoJo... I'm about 8 vols away from finishing Steel Ball Run, probably gonna take a break after that since i can't see myself reading one chapter a month when i catch up to JoJolion.

Oh that's okay, I myself have to catch up on it so it's cool if you don't want to buy the volumes and stuff since you can just send them to me ;)

Seriously though, in terms of seinen manga that are action oriented and not JoJo you should look at Blame!, Knights of Sidonia (both by the ame author) 20th Century Boys, Crying Freeman and especially Akira and Ghost in the Shell. Can't stress those last two enough.

Berserk is the best seinen manga you'll ever read imo, and perhaps one of the best manga series you'll be missing out on if you don't read it. I'm not trying (or maybe I am, just a bit c:) to be an insistent douche, but it is an absolutely incredible work. One of the few times i'll say this is a series worth devoting some of your time into reading, and that you would be truly missing out if you weren't to.

Not to mention, manga releases have just resumed ^^.

Been curious about Blame for a while, i watched a bit of Knights of Sidonia the CG made me stop although I liked the story, I was planning on reading that eventually though. Pretty much everything you mentioned I've been curious about. Guess i should stop hesitating.
As for GITS is there a point I've seen the anime and anime movies. Is there more to it?

I'm waiting until the anime isn't fresh in my mind, I just watched Berserk (the 90s one) maybe a month or 2 ago. I'm definitely planning on it though. It's one of the few manga (in my limited knowledge) that can compete art wise with Vagabond.

The thing about GiTS is that every installment provides a new interpretation. The first movie presents a near even blend of sci-fi action and deep themes of self identity, the second movie skips out on most of the action but gives a much more thematically driven narrative about progeny and reality (or the lack thereof) presented in probably the best way it could be presented, stand alone complex goes back to more of an action route but chooses to focus more on being a procedural whodunnit. What I'm getting at is that every different incarnation of it is something different and that goes for the manga as well.

Guess I'll check it out. I'm almost done with JJBA Steel Ball Run then I'm gonna read Blame and I'll go from there.
Thanks for the recommendations.

Maybe I'm easily impressed, but I found this one to have some pretty good artwork at times:
