The Windows 10 Creators Update brought an update to the Microsoft Edge browser that broke compatibility with the crunchyroll video player. All I get now is "You either have Javascript turned off or an old version of Flash Player." in red text and a hyperlink to get the latest flash even though Edge has flash built in. I'm not a premium plus member so I don't know if the HTML5 player works or not (pretty sure that it would work).

The Edge version number is 40.15063.0.0 and the EdgeHTML version number is 15.15063

That is because Flash is turned off by default:

Edge should have given you a pop-up dialog asking if you wanted to run Flash, but if either it didn't or you clicked it off without taking notice of what it was, you'll need to go into the settings and enable it for CR. (Apparently you can also do it by clicking the puzzle icon that appears in the address bar).

Edge is not giving the popup message for crunchyroll just click on get adobe flash player and it will trigger the pop up on the right side of the search bar and it will work fine after you enable it
