Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory declassified and digitally remastered over 10,000 videos of nuclear bomb tests. They posted them on Youtube.

This video is an explanation for why they went back to look at the films and why they digitally restored them.

The streamers are actually from test rockets fired before the nuclear explosion
