you could try using the ideal carb intake calculator
apparently i'm supposed to have about 200g per day
100g is probably too little, unless you're trying to lose weight.

Really depends on your activity level, age, and the quality of carbs. Stick with complex carbs if you can. Stay away from heavily processed simple carbs (white bread, white rice, etc.).

-- How Many Calories & Carbs Should Women Have a Day?

The number of calories that a woman should consume each day varies with her age and level of physical activity. Regardless of these differences, the 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommends that carbohydrates account for 45 to 65 percent of your total calories.

-- How Many Carbs Should I Eat A Day?

Depending on your age, sex, activity level, and overall health, your carbohydrate requirements will vary. According to the Mayo Clinic, 45 to 65 percent of your daily calories should come from carbohydrates. That’s equal to about 225 to 325 grams of carbs if you eat 2,000 calories a day.

-- Calculate Your Recommended Carbohydrate Intake!

Carbohydrates are used as energy by the body; they fuel our workouts, as well as providing ample fuel to be used throughout the course of the day. Use the following calculator to determine how many carbs you should be taking in each day.

strawberries, spinach, apple, tomato, etc are all very nutritious foods. tomato is known as a "superfood" for a reason.
as i said before, do not avoid any major food group unless you have a very, very good reason to - or if a professional nutritionist you met in real life instructed to do so.

edit: if you're saying GMO, there's zero proof they pose a health risk.

basically what im eating now is Tyson nuggets, 15 carbs for 5, occasional fish stick 6 for 17 carbs, tuna, I do dif tuna, some with the cracker packs, some like buffalo chicken salad that's usually 15 carbs or a lil more , about twice a week I do a dominoes pasta , white sauce alfrdo cheese, jalapeno mushroom and sausage bits

I used to do soup a lot but notrly now, but ill add the ones I eat, its a sausage gumbo that's about 27 carbs for half a can, then chicken dumpling which is I think 19 carb half a can,

this is basically all I eat

my weakness , new weakness cuz I just started doing it the past 2 weeks are these briscotta cookies xD 31 carbs for 8, 2 servings for a packet
I love chocolate so that's what I do when im craving it

If you ask that question..... Find alternatives, or at least change your daily habits. Start Eating more Bananas. Only Eat Carbs in the Morning so you can burn it off during the day. Don't snack on carbs late at night.

Don't go by some bullshit chart, your body will let you know. Your body knows better than anyone else. I dont care about how many grams you need, Don't feed me that bullshit

As we speak I'm sitting down drinking Cider. Is it boring as fuck to Drink Cider? Ya, but its even more boring eating apples.

See what I did there? I'm condensing all of these wonderful apples into a quick and easy drink. IDK I just felt like putting that out there.

Some days I have no carbs, other days I Will. It means nothing to me really, because Im an active in Idividual, both physically, and mentally. Carbs help with keeping your body alert and focused, at least it does for me, but I also have similar results from combining White meat and fresh Veggies.

It all depends on what your body wants. Results are your most important motivator. Start experimenting. If Carbs are your concern, maybe its time to cut back.... Just saying

lol pretty much. never knew about ideal carb intake until i saw this thread. never bothered keeping track - if i feel full, i stop eating, simple as that.

edit:
it was suggested to eat on a smaller plate as a way to help control your portion. you can always get more into your plate if you feel the portion wasn't enough. i also did this, but mostly because i wasn't as hungry.

Well, okay. Here's how it was explained to me by a friend (biology/chemistry), with some additions from a doctor.

One pound in fat is 3300 (kilo)calories, so however much you eat under... whatever is normal for a day (what, 2500?), once you hit a net total of -3300kcal, you'll have burned a pound in fat. My friend ate what he wanted and lost a good 200 pounds in a year and a half this way. 'Course, once there's no fat left to burn, you'll start burning muscle. This is when you need to start eating again.

It's easiest to gain weight the first time, because your body doesn't make fat cells until it needs to. Once fat cells are made, they don't go away - after you gain weight, it gets easier to put it back on. Also, pure sugar does not fill you up because it doesn't need to be converted into sugar unlike most other foods. This means it will not fill you up, so stay off that candy. You're better off eating bread.

All that considered, and this is just a guess on my part, it seems like you'd get the most mileage out of hard-to-digest foods, supplementing yourself with vitamins if needed.
