The first episode jumps forward few seconds at random. It's as if the video had errors during encoding.

It's very hard to watch.

Please check and see what happened.

It's same issue whether I watch on Android phone, online, or Shield TV.

Thank you.

I have a similar issue. My Grandblue fantasy video will play, but then glitch at certain times. Sometimes the screen will freeze and I only hear audio. Other times My screen just goes black, or it'll just buffer for a long time and never play.
If you could resolve the issue that would be helpful.

Thank you~

I'm having the same issue, but with the first episode of Sakura Quest. Problem shows in both IOS and PS4

Glad people are having the same issue and not only me, assures me its something that's wrong with the anime, not just my device or app, wish i could answer how to fix this, but just adding another comment so it hopefully gets noticed, for the time being i'm watching somewhere else which seems to work fine

We had another thread about this a few weeks ago, but there has been no response so far: http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-987253/granblue-fantasy-episode-1-not-working

Seems like the video only plays properly in the desktop player. It keeps skipping forward every couple of seconds on everything else for me.

FWIW, I did not notice any problems with the first episode of Sakura Quest (on Android TV).

I don't have access to the HTML5 beta, but If I use the third-party HTML5 Chrome extension, the 1080p stream exhibits the same skipping. (720p is not affected).

The HTML5 player also shows gaps in the playback/buffer bar apparently corresponding to the skipped segments. There are no network errors for those segments so I assume they are being downloaded correctly but are corrupt.

Hi,

I am just trialling the premium service for 2 weeks and also wanted to watch the Granblue Fantasy series. I'm having the same issues with the first episode where it skips (via App on Amazon Fire devices), and if I try to rewind or fast forward its continually buffering (unless you start from beginning). Very difficult to watch to the point I have now given up. I have even tried different connections in case it was my broadband with no success.

I cannot say I am impressed so far based on this experience, but hope it does get fixed soon. Is there a method to flag issues with performance besides forums which owners of this service monitor?

I will try the desktop version to see if I can watch it perfectly there.

Just adding my voice to this problem as well, I've tried to watch the first episode of Granblue Fantasy: The Animation for a few weeks on an Xbox One using the CR application. I am able to watch others fine (Beserk, My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, etc.). The episode will take over a minute to load then the picture will freeze while the sound continues. Also stutters and skips at times, unwatchable...

I too am having this problem. Experienced it on my Xbox One. For me the severe skipping starts right after the opening credits end. I moved to my computer to see if the problem was just on my xbox but I got the same skipping, though less severe, on my Windows 10 app. Then moved to the web browser and got a separate problem with the 'Javascript error, Flash not installed' BS on both Microsoft Edge and Firefox.

Come on Crunchyroll, get it together.
