Yeah since 2011 only like 3 volumes have been out OTL the last one being last summer ish if i remember correctly |

Cliff hanger endings tend to piss me off than convince me to keep reading the story. Rokka: Brave of the Six Flowers being an egregious offender.
I did start reading Shokugeki no Souma and Wolf and Spice (LN) because of the anime series. |

Not a manga, but after watching Black Bullet and A Certain Magical Index, I went and bought some of the LNs to see what was left out of the adaptation and of course the continuation of the story.

When I watched Clifford the Red Dog I had to go read the manga cause I heard that the anime was an original story and that the manga delved into some seinen themed material.

I don't really read much manga, so not many. I remember reading a couple of chapters of Magi after season 2 ended, but that was it. I also read the original Yu-Gi-Oh! manga after watching season 0, but that wasn't because of cliffhangers, but rather simple curiosity.
On the light novel front, I ended up reading Kizumonogatari (not really a cliffhanger) and all of the Haruhi Suzumiya novels. And on a totally different front, the main reason I ended up playing Persona 4 was because I saw the anime first. I also played the Clannad visual novel after watching the anime, although, again, these were less due to cliffhangers and more just curiosity. |

Claymore is the only anime series that's gotten me to read the full manga. I did read a bit of Battle Angel Alita and the first few volumes of Ranma 1/2. Oddly manga, graphic novels, and comic books don't pique my interest. If I want a story I'd rather read a book. If I want a tale told with images I'd rather watch a movie / tv series / etc. It's rather like opera and musicals. Sing or have a play. Don't stop a play in the middle just to randomly sing for ten minutes.

Loki Ragnarok was the first one to ever get me interested in reading the manga because of a cliffhanger. I started purchasing the manga when it was released in English, only to find they didn't even start the series properly (vol. 1 was actually a bunch of chapters from about the middle of the series and after 2 volumes being released (If I remember correctly?) it was cancelled as the company went under). Then I attempted to read it online, but the chapters that would have taken place after the anime's cliffhanger, at the time, were not available. Something similar happened to me with E'S Otherwise and Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East. I have yet to go back to any of them at this point.

Attack on Titan. 'Cause we all know how season 1 ended, and there was no sign of season 2 for three long years!
