Does anyone else pay for premium membership that only uses it to watch one show?

Berserk is literally the only show I use Crunchyroll for. Everything else is on Hulu, and funny enough my Smart TV isnt compatible with the app so I gotta plug in my laptop to my tv. I have a roku but I've never been able to use crunchyroll, maybe my connection isnt good enough(But from my laptop the connection gets better? makes no sense) as when I try to use the crunchyroll channel it tells me an error occured... lame

Everytime I search for a new show to watch or an old show its always just crap thats available everywhere else but much more convenient so I dont have to plug in my laptop

So here I am complaining because I'm paying premium membership for just one show... but yknow what atleast I can watch new episodes every week.

Anyone else have these same issues?

I recently searched Cowboy Bebop and got excited. (Hulu has it but only the first 6-10 episodes are dubbed and im not a fan of the subtitles for this anime the dubs are great why ruin a good thing?)

Anyway find out that its ALL subtitled...

Well atleast I have access to Attack on Titan... oh wait Hulu has that too, even new episodes that I can watch on my roku...

Oh well, Cheers for Berserk really hope CR gets older shows or more dubs or IDK SOMETHING to make this worth the peddily $7

You can screen share from your phone directly to your TV, if your TV supports that. You don't need any apps for that.

Shows are usually only available on one service, so most of the 30+ new shows we add every quarter are just available on Crunchyroll.

Crunchyroll is primarily a service for subtitled anime. If you are interested in dubs, you might be interested in getting a subscription over on our sister service VRV (www.vrv.co). The bundle subscription there has Crunchyroll (for subtitled series) and Funimation (for dubs). Dubbed Cowboy Bebop is available fully dubbed there on the Funimation channel.

Aforementioned VRV also has AoT S2, and a Roku app~

We just added 3 older shows a handful of hours ago, see: /anime-news/2017/04/20/crunchyroll-adds-junjo-romantica-3-the-devil-is-a-part-timer-and-blood-blockade-battlefront-to-anime-catalog

While CR does sometimes get dubs, a big focus is on getting as much of the new anime as they can, and providing that subbed.

If you strongly want more dubs then you should take a look at Funimation. Some of what they may also be available on Hulu, but I really don't know how much at this point in time. Funimation has the distinction of providing dubs for a number of new shows within the same season they air (usually a delay of a week or more behind air date). Unfortunately, Berserk is not among those. Here's the link to their "simuldub" page though: https://www.funimation.com/simuldubs/ Yes, for the current season these are all shows that Crunchyroll has as subs. That's pretty much how the Funimation/Crunchyroll partnership works.

shinryou beat me to a reply. As he mentions, VRV is also something you might be interested if you want access to some Funi dubs and Crunchyroll's subst in one place. There is a Roku app, which worked fine for me, although the UI is kind of clunky.

Okay I'll have to check out the new app. I heard Funimation partnered with crunchyroll but I guess I wasnt aware of the specifics, thanks for letting me know!!
