To me the idea is just sad....a short but happy life... i would rather a shitty life that is very long personally.

What's the point in being happy if your going to just die early within 60-80 years.

Seems like a waste why bother doing anything with your life in that case it's just a transient phase that once you die nothing goes on it all becomes a waste.

I can't understand those who think "Live for the moment and enjoy life as it is" or "enjoy the time you have" ....just seems to me like a waste of time to pour effort into something that would end so soon.

I mean on paper that sounds fair but... in all ends you are going to die either way doesn't the mere act of existance triumph over happiness and unhappiness?

this post makes no sense

how is being happy for 60-80 years dying "early" ? 60 years is a tad short but not much, and 80 years is a long time for humans.

anyways the thought of being miserable for a long stretch of time is way worse than being happy for a short period of time. Either way everyone's life is a waste unless they themselves dont think so and in that sense a short but happy and fufilled life is better.

Like your post doesn't make sense to me. Your sentences lead to nowhere with no point. I genuinely don't get what you were getting at here lol.

then why would you want a shitty life if you're going to die anyway?

Because a longer existance is better as it allows you to experience more good or bad.
length of life matters imho.

you just said you don't want happiness. there's no good at all in your long life then.

No, I love my imoutos, and I rather live just a week in their embraces than 1000 years without their love!

I love my imoutos so goddamn much!

Humans live very short lives our lifespans are small in general (although not as small as most animals but sitll 80 year is small)

IMO any life that results in a death is not fufilling unless you leave something behind that creates some for over long lasting legacy to last ages to come.

In my opinion living a longer life is much better then living a happy life length of life atleast to me is a much more important value then happiness or sadness.

My post might make no sense but i was asking if anyone else feels the same because people like you don't make sense to me either xD so we are both not able to understand eachother

Length is good though even if it's a long time of suffering the fact that you lived longer is great that's just my opinion though.

Well that's why it's an opinion also most humans are incorrigible you can't change how someone feels at the base of their nature.
For me I could say the idea of happiness without length is not good.

Each human has their own views and values

It did make sense to me when I did that xD but it may be just sloppy I mean I get complimented on my writing a lot but when I'm in a state of 3 hours sleep like now (on a plane smh) writing is like hard ;(
