I was just wondering if someone of you CR users collect the yellow or white plastic bags that you get from the supermarket and use them as trash bags for the house. I'm talking about using them as the trash bags that you use for the bathroom and your room. Unless you buy smaller trash bags then that's fine too. They are normally used for smaller trash bins not the big ones you see in the kitchen and other places in the house.

My Turn:

After my mother goes food shopping, she collects some bags that she will put aside to use for the house. These bags are used for the bathroom and our bedrooms.

What about you?

I bring my own bag when shopping, and try to avoid being given those plastic bags. In fact a few of the places I shop are in cities where those bags are banned.

In spite of that I sometimes end up with them anyway, and they end up crammed into a cupboard, adding up over time hardly ever used for anything. I don't use trashbags in my small bathroom and bedroom wastebins, so if I have something especially messy to throw away I just make sure to toss it in the kitchen trash can, which is lined with an official city-sanctioned trash bag.

Yeah but I get too many plastic bags so I have to recycle most of them instead of reuse.

I put most of them in the recycling green trash. I'll use one to line the little waste paper bin in the sitting room.
