I know the Japanese accent is strange from the demons, almost if they were speaking with a Klingon accent. Could our Japanese speaking people inform me how this has made the characters sound to them?

I'm really intrigued.

Sorry about that. I wish it could be world wide, but I think the deal with Funimation prevents that.

If you are in Europe outside of the UK/Ireland and the Nordic countries, Africa outside of South Africa, or anywhere in Asia, you may never see a library title brought over from Funimation available to you. Even for Latin America, chances are extremely slim, although not out of the realm of possibility (although we have yet to see a single example of that).

It will be interesting to see what happens when they finally bring Dimension W over, since as I understand, they have worldwide rights (outside of Japan) to that (although that wouldn't have precluded them sub-licensing it elsewhere already).

The demons and other folks from the "other world" (Ente Isla) are speaking a manufactured language, not actual Japanese (though perhaps based on it-- looking it up online, it's supposedly just like a relatively simple substitution code, switching particular consonant sounds with others).

Never is a long time, but it has been 4 years. While I could point out a few shows that have gotten a sequel well after that, I could point out far more that have not.

It definitely falls into the "Why not?" category as BD/DVD sales in Japan were very good (averaging 11,802 per video volume), and it is based on an ongoing light novel series that appears to offer sufficient original material (18 volumes).

They had enough material during the original run so if they were gonna do a second season as they animated volumes 1+2. Given that Volume 2 got stretched out in the anime and episode 13 is filler stuff from volume 7, they probably never intended to do a second season unless it hit like, SAO sales. Volume 3 on takes a tonal shift so it'd be a bit riskier for them too,
