Avatar 2 - December 18, 2020
Avatar 3 - December 17, 2021
Avatar 4 - December 20, 2024
Avatar 5 - December 19, 2025
"So we're not making Avatar 2," said director James Cameron. "We're making Avatar 2, 3, 4 and 5. It's an epic undertaking. It's not unlike building the Three Gorges dam. (Laughs) So I know where I'm going to be for the next eight years of my life." All four movies are reportedly being filmed at the same time.

Hopefully this doesn't turn into another Pirates of the Caribbean.

If more of the effort is put into the storytelling than the graphical technology this time around, then I'm rightly for it.

The way Nickelodeon buggered the release schedule for the final season I doubt they're interested in further sequels.

I'm just disappointed that it looks like James Cameron won't be doing a Gunnm adaptation anytime soon. Although given the GitS movie reception, maybe that's a good thing. *And in actually looking it up, Battle Angel Alita is scheduled to released July next year, pardon me while I geek out a little.

They hated Legend of Korra, let's be real. They didn't just bugger up the final season schedule, they insulted it by cutting down air time and even just leaving it to air online only. The chances of another Avatar/LoK spin-off is low.

Ugh POTC 3 was a disaster. Though making 4 movies at once sounds rough, it'll be cool to see Sam Worthington in high budget movies again, he was a decent actor that chose the worst roles.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. There's really going to be that many sequels to Avatar? I had no idea. Perhaps I should venture out from under my rock sometimes and see what's happening.
