I am a little chubby, but not a bad looking guy.
Yet, I get screwed over, time and time again.
This last time did it for me. Now, I am spending time with this girl I am 90% sure is a virgin. And I am pretty sure she is going to give it up to me Sunday. And I know I am not going to be with her very long. Actually about to reenlist into the military.
But... I don't care that I am going to hurt her. I am aware of it, and aware I wouldn't ever do this.... but I just can't bring myself to stop.
I am now a horrible person, and someone I hate. But, I just don't care.
Is it possible that a person goes through so much they just become the things they hate? The things that have caused them pain in the past?
Or do you think there is some other reason I became so heartless?

I would recommend professional help, but I don't know how feasible of an option that is. I also doubt that you are willing to go through that due to the fact that you seem to have experienced a high amount of emotional distress in the last few months of your life. Can your current state be labelled as a sort of "emotional numbness" that makes it very difficult for you to feel empathy? All in all, I am of the firm opinion that you need mental support in one way or another -- be it a psychologist, a close friend or whoever you can trust. You shouldn't have to deal with this by yourself.

I agree, you need someone to talk to. It should be someone sympathetic, who can relate to what you have been through.

If you can't find that, think about the billions of people on this earth, and how many of them have gone through what you have gone through. All of them emerged on the other side, all different. Like which one of them would you rather be?

That choice will matter, but how it will matter won't be obvious to you until much later.

It is time to log off and find someone to talk to. You sound like you're hitting dissociation or something similar. That's a symptom, not an existential question. I don't know what other sort of stuff is going on in your life but you should talk to a doc. Left untreated this kind of shit is a dark, dark path.

Hell yeah, why bullies exist. They've been hurt and want to feel better so they look for someone worst off than they are and most of the time don't care if their victim gets hurt.
