One of my favorite features Netflix has added is the DL now watch later feature. I work in a building that gets no reception inside so i've been having to settle with the anime on netflix(which surprisingly isn't that bad). Has anyone heard anything about CR adding something like this?

such a thing would require additional license, which CR is not willing to pay for. they can't even offer pre-buffering due to restrictions by the copyright holders, which means, if your video stutters every few seconds, there's nothing you can do, even if you're premium.

It's been asked before and I think the last time, a person from Crunchyroll said that due to current license requirements and copyrights, Crunchyroll can't offer that service at the moment. I'll see if I can dig up the previous thread.

I'm pretty sure the Japanese creators would shit bricks if CR allowed downloads. The anime industry was pretty slow to embrace legal streaming as it was.

There are some titles on Steam that are offered by CR, but nothing DTO directly.
