A verbal boxing match where two sides try to prove their belief is correct through discussion. If you are right then people will naturally gravitate to you.

That may work to some degree on a debate stage, with judges and audiences deciding a winner. That's rarely how discourse works, either in the number of participants or in who will be convinced by what, why, or how. Approaching a discussion like a sparring match is likely to lead to quarreling, which is going to be ignored by most people that come across it.

At one point I was a liberal trying to prove conservatives wrong. They stomped me with evidence and I started reading their evidence. As I read their evidence I slowly got red pilled. Eventually I became a moderate then a libertarian-conservative. Debating is the best way to figure out if your beliefs can hold water or not.

We all want to win and many times it takes a long time before someone is willing to change their beliefs. When I found my only retort to be a personal attack on an intelligent discussion I had to rethink my beliefs.

Their plan was to figure out who the masked attackers were and report their behavior to their parents, no joke. They are definitely internet vigilantes but they have a significant amount of influence.

I think that is one of the problems. One allies themselves under political banners and proceed to align their beliefs with the dogma of the group. We have people like Dave Rubin leaving a certain group of thought, merely because he did not like how other people with similar beliefs acted, which has no relevance to the adequacy of the ideas. He can have hardly be categorized as that label when he so easily flipped not through discussion, but dissatisfaction with his peers. Understandable, yes, but foolish nonetheless.

More often than not, the person who is "turned" is just as bad as they were before in discussion, purely because they lashed out at their "former" side they never understood in the first place. This is less introspection and more of a countercultural stance.

If you believe in mostly or all conservative ideas, I think that is a good thing, but when one rushes to defend them and their cohorts for sharing the same side, that is where a great deal of the polarization comes from, and it helps paint one side as a monolithic entity, like Orcs, or Klingons.

In any case, one should clearly call out people they "understand" or "sympathize with" at least, or to dole out criticisms to maintain an unbiased image, and something a little more than the term "cuckservative".

You mean you called them cucks?

Not for people having an intelligent discussion. Only for trolls/drones incapable of intelligent thought.

Oh c'mon. Couldn't you just take that as a joke. Probably a bit of a jab too, but still a joke. Lighten up.

Well, whenever you're ready to actually give it a try let us know. Last I saw you were *still* shoveling conspiracy shit like pizzagate and the DNC murdering people to cover up Podesto's emails. Your standards of "evidence" are frankly pretty poor and you buy basically any conspiracy theory you read that confirms your beliefs.

Like, say, calling the Prime Minister of Canada a braindead liberal cuck or Macron a liberal nutjob? Or being virtually incapable of discussing a topic without somehow turning into something about liberals?

Their parents are right across from them wearing the US flag undies and beating one of their friends with a flag pole. ;p

A conspiracy means at least two people who are conspiring in secret to take advantage of the ignorant masses. The elites have brainwashed you into believing that conspiracies are lies so that you can be a good slave to them by believing all their lies as truth.

Not sure whether this is a joke or not.

I think antifa is scared because of that bike lock guy getting doxxed so quickly.
'Black bloc' doesn't work too well when there are cameras everywhere and thousands of people willing to examine footage and photos for hours on end to identify them and attempt to bring them to justice.

Use your intuition and do open minded research on the truth and you will know if it's a joke or not. Look up what conspiracy really means. Don't be fooled by the matrix of lies.

Open minded research long enough to realize all contrary information originates from a globally powerful elite and can be safely ignored as lies?

No, you are totally wrong. Are you trying to be sarcastic?

Oh heavens no. I'm just trying to make sense of the idea of open-minded research into a powerful elite weaving a matrix of lies.
