mazda and ford

I am now in Tokyo Japan

Mazda and Ford are the same company, but with the Mazda 3 you get an independent suspension and disk brakes on the front and back, Ford only offers disk brakes on the front and drums in the rear, I don't know if you can pay extra to have that upgraded, but why should you when it comes standard.

does it HAVE to be those options?
focus isn't too bad i think if you get the civic you could always get some good parts for it later make sure to buy manual =) |

id look for a second hand car... just look for a good one. your gonna get better interior, better power, better gas millage with the same buck... *EDIT*
ok that was stupid... and i just noticed it.. but i guess that comment was just to add more options for your new car... for the best car under 15k i would say... a punto |

slowdanse wrote: The lower models for Mazda 3s are meh. You could save another thousand and get the better ones =P i will agree on this. There are two classes of Mazda 3's... the s and the i where the difference is that the s is a 2.3 engine and the i is only 2.0 engine. The financial difference is around $2,000 but you can always do the haggling with the dealers haha. For those who are planning to get the Mazda 3... don't get the sport edition for either class of this model! Get the touring! Reason? Sport is manual lock and windows which is a pain... for a bit more, you can have auto windows and auto locks which can save you from getting muscle spasms while you reach across your car to roll down the back windows. I, myself, drive a Mazda 3 i touring. |

lol when i mean lancer im not talkin bout an evo xD (altough i have seen evo 8s with 45k miles or less sell for 15k)
and as for the impreza, im referring to the 06 or 08 models (w/o the turbo, spoiler, and other goodies) just a regular one. those sell for 12-14k i believe sorry if they arent the 08 versions.....but its much more wiser to buy the year b4 |

California weather is nothing; therefore, using the AWD excuse is useless. 2. Evo and good mileage don't mix unless you barely boost, but come on, if you don't drive hard in an evo, there's no point in buying one in my opinion. Turbo, 2.0L engine, and AWD drivetrain don't mix. But on a serious note, get the Mazda3 just because I hate the other ones. |

Who said anything about good mileage? I said the carpool part meaning i like the interior room since i can pack a few people in there and they all pitch in a few dollars for gas. Please read posts carefully before posting. Wouldn't want you looking stupid. |
