But I already know that I can't do anything about it, I just want to complain a bit lol. But gonna leave my sub here and use "other way" to watch those unavailable instead.
But why do they block curtain country though. I paid my money like others right? why can't I watch it. Can't really think of a reason for doing this. How licencing help with anything anyways?

They want to charge top dollar for anime to a market with very few viewers? The no one picks up the series and everyone loses

Actually what it is is that many of CR's licenses come via other companies (Pony Canyon, Funimation, Sentai, Nozomi Entertainment etc.) who don't have the same try-and-get-global-licenses approach as Crunchyroll itself does, also this is a relatively recent (last few years) stance by Crunchyroll so some of their older titles they may have only gotten for English-speaking countries.

Having said that, there are a number of titles they only have for non-English regions, for example I recall Dagashi Kashi being licensed solely for North Africa and the Middle East, so they do try

Also it should be noted that the way licensing is handled by the Japanese production companies can be a bit arbitrary, for example if Crunchyroll was given only US rights to something by Production Company X in 2011, even if there are no other licensors outside the US trying to license Company X's new title in 2012, they might still only give Crunchyroll US rights, just because that's how they did it before
(there are people who know far more about this than me, if you search around the forums you'll find more detailed posts on this kind of thing)

I've moved this over to site questions, since it's more about the site than just a general discussion. But basically.. streaming licenses are at the whim on the publishers, unfortunately. And that gets really complex - multiple show deals, deals that exclude certain months because the show is also on TV in the region, certain regions have their own requirements when it comes to physical media, etc.. as a premium subscriber, the best bet is to request it in the premium group. They do use that to work harder at those regions/shows that are requested, just like they use what you watch to work harder for similar shows in your region.
