So I'm not entirely sure if people post stuff like this on here, but I've seen someone do something like this with an iOS app design before, so I'd like to share with you all something that I've been working on for the past three weeks.

It's an unofficial Crunchyroll website redesign concept. The project itself is way too large to share on here, however I'll leave the Behance link below. Hopefully you all enjoy this project as much as I enjoyed creating it.

I'm gonna report it so that the mods can see it :D

You know something that I think is missing on the site, is to show more stats when you are looking for something to watch, like the score and how many votes, take for example myanimelist dot net, their search options are pretty good.

Thanks man, much appreciated <3

Yeah I totally agree with that, it's nice to see what others think without having to open a new tab, but I guess in some cases it can be hard to implement with regards to space, but yeah, I completely agree

Man, your proposed redesign looks so clean and slick. I wish it were real. This site needs a resign bad, like really bad.

Cheers man! I'm glad that you like it Aye, out of my labour of love I set about doing this because I felt that the current site really needed to be updated in certain areas

No idea how much I love this!
I'm studying UX/Graphic design right now, and so I think I can pin down what I love about it so much...

1) The home page is neat and organized. Currently things are staggered which means I need to look around the home page to find what I'm looking for, but your design makes everything easy to see.
2) You simplified the visual design, but also exaggerating certain elements with the 'crunchyroll orange' to make them stand out and be very clear. (Such as in the show section, the orange arrow button and add comment button stand out, making them very clear. And being that these buttons are quite important, it's good on a UX basis)
3) And on the UI basis, just the sheer simpleness of the design feels very modern. It would simply be, on a purely visual standpoint, a much needed facelift.

My only critique would be on the homepage; in the "site news" you have the "share" and "view" counter. I personally would not make the view counter the 'crunchyorange'. That draws the attention to the view counter which is practically meaningless to the user. So having it be a subtle color to enforce it as extra information and not the center of attention would be the way to go. The "share" button and "read more" button is what you want the user to notice.

As a digital designer, I'd like to say I really like it but of course I can share some ideas as well.

First of all, I'd like to see how would the website look like if you'd have used font families such as ''Lato, Josefin Sans or Nunito Sans''

Second, I don't think there should be a cookie icon to see the information about cookies next to the other navigation icons. That can be used maybe in the footer or a one time pop-up page when you visit the site

I completely agree with ''kata89''s 2nd opinion because sticking with crunchyroll orange and using it efficiently works really well.

I'd definitely add ''Store'' on the navigation.

One last thing, if I were you, I wouldn't use ''italic'' style for the footer elements. Titles are ok but to me I just think it'd be so much better if you've used ''regular'' one

For anything else, I think it looks really really good
