I read a few similar threads about this already but for those that are unaware, for whatever reason you can't watch new episodes using a Roku device. Any old episodes work fine but all of the new simulcasts just sit indefinitely at the loading screen. I've since installed VRV onto my device since that works but it doesn't have queue integration so you have to remember everything you're watching.

It's getting to the point where it's ridiculous. I've tried re-downloading the app on addition to logging out and logging back in. Furthermore the issue doesn't happen on any of my otherwise devices ( PS4, PC, XB1, Switch). Is this an issue with Roku? Please in the very least give us some transparency regarding the issue because I'm honestly about ready to just stitch to VRV since it works there.

I've moved this to the Roku forum. I use a Roku stick (not the latest model), and I haven't noticed the problem. How new are the episodes you have problems with? Is it a matter of a few hours or a few days before the problem stops for a specific new episode?

It seems like it's not recognizing premium membership or something along those lines. Hero Academia, AoT Season 2, and BERSERK all fail when attempting to play, it's also very incosistent. Hero Academia won't start the second season at all, but season 1 plays fine. The same applies to the aforementioned titles. However Akashic Records and Kado both play perfectly fine, including the latest episodes. As I mentioned before it's only with the Roku app and is consistent between my Roku tv and my Roku stream stick I have downstairs.

In particular the blue "retrieveing" bar fills up, but the episodes never start.

The Roku apps has a ton of issues and it seems everyweek somebody has a new one.Been told that my Issues are going to take a while to fix,so I guess it's the same for the new episodes problem certain people have,
