I was stuck experiencing the same issue many others have with the app and was annoyed that even thought I was up to date on episodes through watching on VRV, my queue still showed me 3-4 episodes behind. I figured if I started the latest episode of my simulcasts for about a minute on PC, it would take over the slot in Roku for the episode being shown. After doing this oddly enough, the episode began loading on the Roku device. So far this worked with 3 of the series I have been following, but I'm not sure if it'll still be resolved next week or if I'll have to repeat the process.

In short, start the episode you wanted to watch on PC and let it run for long enough that Roku gets the "Start From Beginning" or "Resume From ???" prompt (usually 30-60 seconds is enough) and the episode should play on your device.
