People tell me I'm smart or highly intelligent, I just take their word for it.

Don't consult my PSAT scores though, I only answered like 4 questions the way I was supposed to.

I would like to point out that, in almost every practical situation you will ever encounter, saying outright you are smart is stupid. What happens is people find all these little ways to signal, to those who know what to look for, that they are smart too. That's because figuring out how smart other people are is part of being smart. In my opinion.

Practicing the wrong thing is, at best, useless. At worse, it makes you stupider. Although, you probably knew that to write as much.

As far as I'm concerned a smart person doesn't brag about how smart he or she is. They probably don't feel the need to and even if they did, that arrogance may turn people off. I know I would be because I can't stand people like that.

I have been told by people that I am smart but I don't think I am despite the fact that I went to university and got a degree, but having that doesn't mean anything to a lot of people as far I'm concerned. There are people I know who are far smarter than I. What matters to me, is not so much as how smart a person is but how they are as a person.

I'm smart when it comes to being resourceful. I can figure most problems out, and fix most things. I have a mind for math and mechanics. However, socially I'm a complete idiot. I do well enough that people don't dislike me, but that's about it. Yep, I'm a smart idiot.

Meh and I say you can't argue with basic math. If you're bank account numbers are high it means that at the very least you're smart with your wealth and work life. The means for measuring practical intelligence is in personal, professionally, and emotional success. Nothing else really matters, if you can't turn IQ into something meaningful it's just a waste. And there is nothing wrong with a little pride.

nope, I'm a basic run of the mill off the assembly line human with a 105 IQ, I guess that is right at the start of the slope down on the bell curve on the smart side, but still painfully average

I also suck at math
