Darksiders 3 has been officially announced and it's coming out December 2018.

You can check out the official trailer right here. Even though there's no gameplay footage I'm so hype for this game

I've never played it* (and I say this while owning the first 2). Can you tell me why it would be worth it to play it? I'd have to download them but if it's good enough I'll give it a go.

*I did play Darksiders 2 a little bit on my Xbox 360 because it became free at first. The controls felt very simple, didn't feel fluid enough, and the puzzles/boss fights were easy. I do admit only playing about 30 minutes to 45 minutes but it wasn't enough to give a full opinion on it I guess.

I always found it a bit weird how they shoehorned in giving War and Death a gun, but that gun is really almost entirely useless.

Played a bit of the first one, seemed like a worse version of God of War. It wasn't bad or anything.

I always get Darksiders confused with that game where you have the gun and the two snake thingies on your shoulders and you shoot people in first person...

The Darkness is less about seeking revenge for a paperwork screw up and more like a dude dies and discovers that he is literally the devil, so he goes and gets revenge on the people who wrecked his birthday party.

If you like a good story, open world rpg with the loot element it's worth the play. Unfortunately Darksiders 2 does have its fair share of glitches so you would need to save often. Darksiders 1 is more of linear game and focuses on upgrading the weapons you acquired . It also has with a great story. If you're a fan Mark Hamill, he voices the Watcher an does an excellent job.

Yeah that's hella wierd, didn't use the gun much with War but I did use it a lot with Death. The Sticks and Stone quest was a pain in the ass but worth it in the end. If you do it correctly your're able to collect the Abyssal Armor.

Haha Darkness was also a pretty fun game to play. Though I doubt they'll continue that series even though they left the ending of the second game pretty cliffhanging.

The Darkness also believes in a thing called "love".

Wow, I thought they were never going to continue this franchise, I liked Darksiders I a lot, although I never finished Darksiders II halfway through the game it became way too repetitive because of the dungeons (yeah like Zelda games), probably it's a good time to install it on my Xbox One and finish it.

I doubt that there are hardcore Darksiders fans present here and everywhere I go, people want nothing more but generic video games (Darksiders fans don't care what your favorite Final Fantasy games are or whatever).

A 12 min pre alpha gameplay came out today. You can check it right (here) not bad. Though personally I wish they would had kept her appearance like the comics but I can understand why they changed her.
