Valerian and Laureline is based on a French graphic novel series animated by Japan for distribution in France or something like that. So technically it’s French-Japanese Anime.

Hmm... I could only think of a few anime-styled cartoons and aside from what they all said, I've watched 'Restol Special Rescue Squad' from Korea years ago (it was aired and dubbed on local tv back then). It was pretty good.

Also, there's 'Miraculous Ladybug' (French-Japanese-Canadian) and W.I.T.C.H. And the old Megas XLR which has some mecha anime feels to it.

If you want a non-japanese anime, I recommend "The King's Avatar". It is Chinese, and it is part of this season. So far, the show has been enjoyable and better than I expected. The Chinese name is "Quan Zhi Gao Shou".
