Don't get your hopes up with DxD being uncensored, the funimation one was censored, so this one probably will be too.

I hope highschool dxd is uncensored, atleast for premium members otherwise 90% of it will be a white screen

I did a quick check, and it is definitely the uncensored version.

Hoooboy. I know what I'll be watching this weekend then, thanks xD

And as allways, most of EU gets left out of the releases :/. Im starting to doubt crunchyroll considering they couldn't bring KonoSuba where I live yet, and how popular it is.

Same for the events they do with physical rewards. I love this service but this keeps me out so many times.

As a german... screwed again. 80%+ of the titles added since my 3 months of premium are not viewable. It can't be bad luck that everything i have an interest in is restricted? I'm sad

Everything that isn't a current release, that they get as a sub-license from the Funimation partnership deal, will be that way. They can only inherit what Funimation already had. It's only new season shows, where prior licensing isn't already in place, where you will see improvement on that situation.

The Thing is, i looked way back and there is no improvement! And if they don't work on this then it would be nice if it gets an official Statement. Like "Sorry but we are not working on resolving the licensing issues for Country x". Then i know what to expect and can act accordingly. I.E. I know nothing of Funimation. Does it mean they can't ever get licences from other sources? No idea how that works, all i see is:

Sorry, due to licensing limitations, videos are unavailable in your region.

Keep them coming Crunchy.
Don't let Amazon take your place as the main provider of anime.

I take it you didn't read the other messages before posting. It is uncensored.

As to "protecting the kids", CR has no problem with having content that isn't "kid friendly" by any stretch of the imagination. My prime example of this:

To save yourself heartache, ignore any announcements that have the word "Catalog" in the title, as those are late pickups from prior seasons and almost always are being sub-licensed from other US companies. You need to look at the new season announcements instead. I (quickly, so maybe not accurately) counted about 25 or so shows available worldwide in this thread for the current season:
/forumtopic-985789/spring-2017-lineup-updated-with-times

For older Catalog series, they can't go back and get additional licenses for the same shows in other countries where they have already been acquired by other competing streaming services such as Amazon, Anime on Demand, Clipfish, MyVideo Schweiz, Daisuki, and Akiba Pass, which all seem to compete for titles in Germany.

Even over here, there isn't a one-stop place to get everything. Amazon, Hulu, Netflix, The Anime Network, Funimation (for dubs), break it up for us too, where we need multiple subscriptions.

For catalog titles, it often doesn't make economic sense (since they tend to have lower viewership), not to mention dealing with the patchwork of rights that would have been snapped up by companies in other countries during the interim.

Thank you both for explaining. Makes more sense now!

Guess Crunchyroll ain't for me then. I am more of a "binger" instead of waiting for newest Episode every week. So "Catalog" is what i'm interested in. I will keep premium to support the industry. I always hated needing to watch fansubbed stuff as a european so i stopped years ago. But it's still the only way to watch whole seasons of older stuff it seems. I do buy DVDs but rarely use them because i'm handicapped and can't even insert a DVD so i try to do everything online. Just to explain why i can't use every Option.

Thanks again and have a nice Weekend ;.;

Just keep in mind that every simulcast becomes part of the catalog when the show is over, and as long as one isn't in Asia, availability of new simulcasts has been improving. I have the same "Woo-hoo, new shows!" reaction each season as most people, but it is for the shows that premiered 1-2 seasons ago.

I'm also the type to wait and watch. As an example, about a week ago I viewed all of the second half of Iron Blooded Orphans in a bit over 2 days, and all of ēlDLIVE in less than a day before that. Normally, however, I watch one or two episodes at a time, switching between series.
