Love Crunchyroll but i have a small problem. My kids like it as well. It has the option to block all ecchi but not a option to make it so you need a password and the kids could just unblock it.
Woundering if every one would support a password protection for each time you want to play ecchi content. Ie the setting could be set to show it but it will not show unless you have the set up password and you cant change or remove the password with out said password.

Would you support some thing like this? yes / no ?

Haha, my father didn't hide very well his "magazines" when I was a kid, and because of that, nowadays I'm a exemplary member of society.

Anyways, I think that what you are suggesting is a good idea.

Since you didn't actually create a Poll (which you do by clicking "New Poll" instead of "New Topic"), I've moved this over to the Suggestions/Feedback forum.

To get answers in poll format, you could start again with "New Poll" in the Polls forum.

Also, while I'm not against CR adding features that would allow users to change their settings to implement something like this, I'd find it very, very, very annoying if one were, by default, required to set a password and enter it every time one wanted to watch ecchi or violence or anything else someone might find objectionable. My account is mine alone and I'm a big girl. I don't want to be inconvenienced when watching whatever I want to watch.

rather than asking for a password option, CR could implement a parental control option, which can be toggled on/off by the account holder
(some kind of verification would be needed to be able to change the option of course)
by default, the parental control option should be off, and once it's turned on, all ecchi-tagged series would be hidden with a
"this series is restricted. please turn off parental controls and try again"

edit: something like this:

things worth noting:

ALL video thumbnails are covered by the CR logo, since thumbnails can have objectionable content
the series main image is replaced by CR Hime telling the user to turn off parental control to watch it
both "start watching" and "add to queue" are grayed out and do nothing

of course, when clicking any video that's blocked by parental controls, the user should instead see the same message by CR Hime
otherwise that would defeat the purpose.
