A lot apparently
My parents (and scholarships) support me through college
My mom is a financial adviser and handles most of my money stuff.
This means opening savings accounts when I was like 10-12. And occasionally adding money and squirreling money I make from whatever jobs I work into. And I've decent income from part time and work and internships during college.

So it's probably a decent chunk at this point.

It helps that I generally don't spend money on basically anything past food (still living off my parents in college, but anything I want for me I buy).

Pretty much this ^
Closer to 4-5 years at the moment; however, it falls into the range mentioned by MakotoKamui.

For my savings for retirement, I want to have $3,000,000 in savings by the time I retire. This is so I can have $90,000 in interest every year after retirement.

I will make $120,000 or so per year after I climb the ladder. If I work 30 years, I will make $3,600,000. That obviously wont cut it, so I would need to work 40 years or so for my desired goal. Retiring at 65 here I come?

Edit: I forgot to add investing in. Maybe I could do it in 30 years if my investments go well.

you know on average someone who works to their 65 will live to be 67 or so. Wile someone who work till their 55, life expectancy is 10 years more.
SO after 55 every year you work shaves off a year of your life as well. 'SO the question is what is more better, to live longer, or have more money wen you retire.

Not much right now less than a months living expenses, but in the last two or so years I have suffered 8 months of unemployment and I choose to not collect unemployment from the state. As such that really drains your savings.

If I die before 85, I will be the first in my family for 4 generations to do so, that is over 60 people. I should be fine 20 years after retirement.
