PARIS — Centrist politician Emmanuel Macron won the French presidential election on Sunday over far-right candidate Marine Le Pen.

By a fairly decisive margin at that. Least someone has learned from this whole mess.

Yes, complete with Russian email hacking of Macron and everything. It was a little on the déjà vu side.

Wow, those margins are pretty darned close to the poll projections.

Heard a story this morning about American White Nationalists trying to stump for La Pen via twitter:
http://www.npr.org/2017/05/07/527250347/the-u-s-alt-right-takes-a-role-in-the-french-election

But progressively more and more of the best performing tweets have actually been opposed to Le Pen and opposed to the white nationalist in the U.S. and, in some cases, have been openly mocking them. So for example, I saw a tweet earlier today, which was retweeted about 600 times, talking about the irony of American nationalists trying to influence the French in English.

Kind of funny that to see a group that's generally anti-French and anti-globalists attempt a global effort to influence a French election, and it fail spectacularly because French nationalists generally aren't happy with English in general.

Nice to see cooler heads prevail.

Well, we are likewise in a bizarre moment where people are calling other people Commies while likewise arguing that Putin is a great guy and totally wants to be friends so.

My face when Macron imports more "migrants" and Cuckistan(formerly known as France) gets more terrorist attacks, rapes, child grooming gangs, etc.

All because they wanted to fucking virtue signal about how tolerant they are. GG RIP. I feel bad for all the unborn children that have been sold down the river and are "going to have to live with terrorism"

Good.

Also, the more ISIS loses ground in the middle east: the more the sleeper cells and recruiters will likely commit acts of desperation. It is very possible right now that it will get worse before it gets better.

Despite the amount of fearful coverage it gets, right now isn't a historic high by any means. Especially not for Europe. If you look back over shit like the IRA it got really nasty. It's still nasty. But they can't buy themselves a headline outside of the UK because they aren't scary brown immigrants.

Yea, the terror attacks are not as common as the news in the USA would like you to think. I asked my German friends and they said the same thing.

Next is the German election. Lets hope the AfD doesn't gain any ground! Also, fun fact, a leader of German Intelligence made an Anti-Hacking group and said Russia has already hacked them. Want to take bets on if Merkel gets hacked?
