Well for the first several times, but it can wear on me if it's consistent enough.

I really don't have it in me to accept it at all, so I don't.

I used to be very scared of the idea of rejection, but over time i've come to realize that if I have nothing to lose, Ill do it even if I get rejected. Its better to know the answer rather than thinking about it later "why didnt i do it" which kind of kills u from the inside lol. So yeah, rejections are part of life, and everyone should just accept rejection as sometimes its not even personal.

I haven't been rejected much in the past, but the few times I have, I handled it very poorly. The worst was my break up with my ex. It was so ugly, I'm not going to tell you how it happened. (but don't assume in your head I did anything bad to her, I didn't at least do that.)

But I've taken light rejection much better in recent years. (light being little time investment) If a cute girl turns me down, I pretend to spin a handgun, cock it, aim it at my chest, go "bang! heartbroken!' in a joking manner.

the four times i've confessed to someone, i haven't been rejected. job rejections? I don't really care I just let it slide and move on. friend rejection? I just move on to someone else.

idea/work rejection? ugh those get me hard. i'm very sensitive when it comes to the criticism of my writing and it makes me put writing down for a few months before I pick it up again...I need to work on that. I'm easily discouraged when it comes to that kind of rejection. Family rejection also gets me bad...I was rejected for something huge before by them and it honestly really hurt. Now I'm paranoid to tell my family anything again for fear of another situation like that.

The best thing to do for rejection is just to get up, dust yourself off and move on. But sometimes the situation makes that difficult to do. But honestly in the end, that's all we can do.
