For the past month maybe a little more then that I have not been able to watch any anime using the mobile app. Because of almost non stop buffing I'll start up a episode it will play fine for a while but then it will freeze but the audio won't. The audio plays back part of the episode that played before the video froze like it's trying to catch up or something. But it will do this multiple times during a episode to where it just makes it unable to watch. I don't think it's my internet or connection to my phone because my Wi-Fi never usually drops below three bars. Also when watching using the xbox app everything is fine I do use a ether net cable with my xbox not Wi-Fi tho. I wasn't having a problem with the the mobile app this much before, it started I think after the update that put manga on it, but i don't know if that would be the main cause of it tho.

If anyone knows how to fix my issues or anything that could help that would be much appreciated. Thank you

Here's a few things to consider:

Have you updated your app?
Have you updated your phone?
Does your phone have issues with other apps (for example youtube)?

If there are updates available for you try that. Also if your phone is old it could be your phone is dying but make sure it's not having issues with other video streaming apps.

Hopefully support can help you

Edit: I have no issues with my Android version. I have a Samsung J3 2016.

Same issue here on my android Galaxy S7 everything has been updated uninstalled/reinstalled, for 3 months now the mobile has not worked. I I keep getting is that is my phone or something I did. Sick of BS. Everything else works perfectly, Netflix, Hulu, and every other streaming service. I think I'll be canceling my subscription shortly and take my money else where I am not being blamed for your BS app and responses. Esp since I have asked for a refund on the last 2-3 months and receive no answer, thanks for stealing my money.

same problems for me.. if I'm lucky I'll get maybe 20-30 seconds of continuous play before it freezes up again. It's a terrible experience.
Watching shows on Netflix on the same device/wifi/cell data is no problem.

Just an update from me, I was using my friend's iPhone and I would on occasion would have to restart the app due to it being stuck on buffering (not because of internet) or "hanging"/"freezing". It never actually froze but all I did to fix it was restart the app and it would fix it.

I noticed that it would happen if the screen was locked, I went to another app, or if I went to the home screen.

I too, have been having this issue for the past month on my Pixel XL. There never used to be this issue before. It sucks because I usually watch live action or anime shows while doing cardio. Would be nice to use my subscription Crunchy.

The android app is unusable due to these bugs. Check the play store reviews, it's full of complaints for months about the same issues, and yet a shit to be given about it.

Best solution seems to be cancel sub and uninstall. No response for so long means crunchyroll is probably not interested on fixing anyway.

For some reason I get the feeling they are no longer supporting anyone except people that watch on the PC.
Seems there are issue with the app across multiple platforms or they have discontinued the app for them.

I'm having the same issues of the app crashing after about 20-40 seconds of play, on 3 different devices.

Same problem.
Android 7
All new & updated.
WiFi = 20 Mbps
Youtube works fine & fast.
Only crunch does this: video (any) loads, even asks me if i want resume or start over anew from start. In any case, video loads few frames, after a second video freezes, audio continues. When I move time line, this repeats again. Same for 'next 10 seconds'.

As paying customer, i am NOT happy!
