Is it me or has the Roku channel been getting progressively worse?

I keep getting errors left & right these days.

Sometimes the audio quality is poor. It always takes ages to actually load the channel. Other times the channel simply won't load at all or tries to load, gets nearly there but then I get booted back to the Roku menu. I manage to get back in but half the content is missing. Or I lose the ability to rewind or fast forward as the bar or pictures doesn't show. Other times I get stuck during loading an episode!

Ever since they implemented this new channel it had been nothing but a giant headache!

It's definitely not my Roku as I have high speed Internet & no issues with Netflix or Amazon Prime.

Well,it's not getting better
Been waiting for a month for my issue to be fixed(Some older episodes,for exemple the first 40-50 or so episodes of DBS have a 240p-like -quality and awful sound only on my Roku for no reason,while newer episodes play in HD just fine)and it's getting frustrating since my Roku is my main method for streaming my content these day.And the web player is meh for me,too much judder.

My daughter can't even watch it on her Roku anymore its gotten so bad. Now she is experiencing errors on the computer as well. We can only hope they are actually putting money and effort into fixing all these issues.

I also am having audio and video quality issues on my Roku... I was watching the last few episodes of season 1 of AOT and the quality was perfectly fine, but once I tried to stream season 2, everything went south. I resorted to hooking up my laptop via hdmi since I really dislike watching foley on my computer but that's a sore fix since I don't want my computer to be overheating. If the update (if there is indeed one) doesn't fix these issues, I might not renew my premium membership.

Anyone with a PS4,PS3,Xbox360, or Xbox One know if the CR channel runs any smoother on there?

Kinda losing hope right now,as I said multiple time here,been waiting for a month and a half,some people more than me and there's nothing really happening.I know it can take time,but more than a month ?it's kinda big.

Same here. Doesn't load at all, or plays a couple seconds, then gets stuck on loading for over a minure. Another couple seconds, and another couple minutes of loading. It's unwatchable.

Me too. It's getting very frustrating since we don't hear anything from Crunchyroll. I have a Roku 4k Pro connected via cable line directly to my router and it's not loading at all. I have 60gbps and the quality is total shite...I'm getting pissed off here as I am paying for a service that I can't use at all. Crunchyroll needs to do something and they needs to address this fast.

i opened Crunchyroll on my Roku just for fun,and my issue I reported 2 months ago is still happening(Certains show like some early Dragon Ball Super stream with low quality sounds and video while newer episodes stream in HD normally). Still dont know what's happeneing.

Just upgraded to an Apple Tv and let me just say the experience is infinitely times better! The sound issue I was experiencing is nonexistent on this platform. If you have any apple devices, I really suggest checking it out since the cross-device capabilities make the experience smooth and easy. I wouldn't hold my breath on any beneficial updates for the roku since it seems it's the most neglected platform.

For me, Crunchyroll works fine for any of the older series, but none of the newer or airing series work! At first, I thought it was just AOT 2, but then I tried another random one that was airing, and it won't work either. Now, for me, I'm not a premium member - It will play 2 or 3 ads before the video starts, so I'm like, "okay here we go," but no video, just the beginning ads and then it's just frozen at the loading screen. I've given up on airing series with Crunchyroll.

And for me it's the other way around,new shows or episodes works fine,but older show are streaming in awful quality, both video and audio.Been waiting for 2 months and still no real news about it.
