Instead of complaining please make an effort to actually watch a show instead of looking at it, judging it by the title and picture, saying it's not worth watching then proceeding to complain to everyone on CR who really don't care.

Well.

I have got nothing but disappointments from trying crunchyroll for 20 minutes searching for any of the anime series that I want to watch. There is literally nothing but the upcoming, new, popular ongoing and nothing else.

No old, less popular, underrated anything. Basically, I've come here to be able to watch attack on titan. There is not much else to watch.

I'll find something to watch and end the trial. If i'm able.

So many shows on here are worth watching, but you have to be open minded and not looking to disappoint yourself. From what you say it sounds like you're trying to disappoint yourself just so you can complain about it.

If you honestly don't care you shouldn't reply to the post, right? And if you also knew how to read the whole post before adding stuff that contradicts your reply that would make better reason than that.

You came here with another complaint. And I even added at the bottom: "I'll find something to watch". But uuh... That's not open minded enough for you I guess.

I don't think it matters discussing what series I was looking for but whatever.

Kimi ni todoke
Monogatari series
School Rumble
Inuyasha

That was a few of what I was looking for.

Or are they not available in your area.
I was bummed that they didn't have Inuyasha as well.

20 minutes in 30 days free trial doesnt seem worth it.
Oh yeah, because everyone with an open mind disregards the thousands of shows on this website.

Want recommendations?

"There is not much else to watch" talking about one show, attack on titan.
Try to expand your horizon and you'll be surprised at how many amazing, beautiful and simply breathtaking series this website offers.
All you have to do is; Look, and give it a shot.

If you really just wanted to watch attack on titan there are plenty of other ways to do it. You could have saved a free trial here for when you actually know what you're looking for.

EDIT:
Or you could have made your post more like this:
'I'm having trouble finding shows that interest me. I came here for Attack on Titan, but nothing else I wanna see is here, any suggestions?
Much appreciated, thanks!'

20 minutes of usage seems a bit perfunctory, especially with the admittance you are only actively seeking out ONE show, and then making a thread complaining that Crunchyroll does not have that specific show in your region. Just. One. Show.

Meanwhile, there are various people who cannot watch a great deal of the newer shows due to licensing restrictions.

In any case, I would recommend cancelling it manually, as it automatically deducts after 30 days for the next month (Which is not free).

This is something you could have researched before starting the trial. At no point has the site indicated that there are anime/manga hidden from sight unless you have a membership. There are some you cannot watch without a membership but you can browse through the title collection to see what they have before you start the trial, which can be canceled without paying anything, or buying a membership.

It's quite easy to say that to someone new who doesn't know how the site works. When you've probably used this site many hours longer, than I have, and actually knew that there would be country restrictions while I've never use it and wouldn't know anything about it.

Then use it before for free? Check to see how many micro transactions there out, scout the area?

Do you have ANY taste in anime? Or do you just watch "the most popular show"?

If you read the post I guess you wouldn't be asking this question...
I meant that I am only able to watch AOT because it's one of the only series that I was looking for to be able to watch of those I was searching for.
Anyways who cares about what other people like in anime? popular or not it doesn't really matter does it?

It does matter so I can suggest stuff to you to watch?

Do two things, first visit this page and make sure you have mature title setting to be allowed: /acct/?action=video

Then after doing that, go to /videos/anime/alpha?group=all to see everything available to you rather than to do pointless searching. If you can't find something there, then it may be true that CR isn't a match for your tastes.

I did do that before reading your comment, but as is... If I can't find the stuff I want in the alphabetical order I'm pretty sure that it is not there.
But I gave up on looking for anything, and went for a random and got hooked on a short romance.

I did say that I was going to try and find something. But everyone just seems to look through that and white knight all over ;)
Great community btw.

Why not use genre search? Although I must warn ya, some shows are mislabeled, but it is generally accurate. "Generally".

I hate threads like this, mostly because it shows you took like 5 minutes to look at the catalog. Look. Whether you like it or not, Crunchyroll is going to mainly advertise the new and big shows on their front page. Because that's what get's people to purchase their subscriptions. That does not mean, however, that their catalog is limited, or that that is all they have. You are already doing your part as a consumer by using a free trial and seeing if the service is worth it for you. Please, continue to use that trial and try to look at the catalog before you complain about it. You essentially started a trial, looked at Boruto and Dragon Ball Super, got mad, and decided to start a forum post.

"No old"

Fist of the North Star, Rose of Versailles, Eyeshield 21, Great Teacher Onizuaka, Rurouni Kenshin, a bunch of Saint Seiya titles, Galaxy Express 999, Cowboy Bebop, etc.

"less popular, underrated"

Ping Pong? Gankutsuo : The Counte of Monte Cristo ? Mononoke(not the popular Ghibli Movie, an underrated experimental Mononoke), Akagi, Kaiji, Black Jack?

And here's the thing - while many of the titles Crunchyroll's back catalog carry where very popular for their time, they're not really that relevant anymore. Crunchyroll could stop carrying titles like Great Teacher Onizuaka, Hellsing Ultimate, Ef - A Tale of Memories, Hitman Reborn!, and their subscribers wouldn't quite most likely. In fact, if anything Crunchyroll adds a lot of back catalog titles that are underrated. Just recently we got the announcement of two new anime being added that virtually nobody knew about before the announcement - like The Third : The Girl With The Blue Eye.

I believe it was in the middle of 2016 that I made a notepad list of titles that Hulu has that Crunchyroll doesn't - not to bash Crunchyroll but to see if it was worth subscribing to both services. Hulu recently took away a few of their titles(like Texhnolyze), but their anime catalog is SERIOUSLY underrated, they have a lot of new shows and a lot of classics, and all their anime are subbed. But now a few of their anime are being taken down, and they aren't doing as good with new shows.

Here was the original list :

and from this list, Cowboy Bebop, Hellsing, Hellsing Ultimate, and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood were all recently added in the past few months anyways, and I think Heroic has been out here for a while? Cruchyroll's service is really really good. The problem is that a lot of the consumers just seem to be ignorant to search bars, licenses, or other services that might suite them better. You should try looking at a catalog before criticizing it, because Crunchyroll isn't going to just point out old shows for you(except FMA where they decked out banners for the show)

Every title that i was looking for I also searched on google like "Crunchyroll <anime title>" Where they came up as not available in my country or what it says.

Kind of bummed out about that. But I'm going to forget about this post now becuase you are probably the only reasonable person replying here ;)

I've moved this to the Suggestions / Feedback forum. That's the best place to let Crunchyroll know what you think of their site and services.
