IDK about you, but on one part, I like this. I hate the current process of getting a job. It's more complicated and stick up the arse then it needs to be. However, at the end, I'd rather do what I'm currently doing, instead of playing with the system.

Be an autistic bum on SSI writing stupid short stories, researching game development, developing contacts with artists and maybe using those things down the line as an independent career. I know, it's stupid, but it's my choice, my life.

That's not stupid its a good career path.

Certainly better then wasting 4+ years and several thousands of dollars at a school when most people could just learn the shit themselves. All without the pressure of a professor, debt, or realization that you just blew 4+ years of the very short window that your young, fertile, and attractive.

and over what? A piece of paper?

Also i care about intelligence so some of us do mostly because talking to unintelligent people (to a degree when i say unintelligent i mean cannot grasp basic principles) is a drag.

I had to talk to someone once who said not everything in the universe is logical and other shit like that......i spent the whole hour pointing out logical contradictions in his arguments and just bad errors it was painful.

Please people intelligence is not needed but have SOME

I don't like to listen to people talk about things they don't understand, especially if they are clever.

Trolling much you aren't a computer

1) We are not computers in the sense of a silicon based computer. They are inflexible and incapable of changing or adapting themselves. They are as they were built and cannot change or adapt.
2) Our brains are a biological computers capable of having entire portions of it destroyed or even removed. It can restructure itself and have the remaining parts take over functionality that was lost. It is capable of rewiring itself on the fly and massive adaptation. While learning it constantly rewires itself to handle the processing of new information.

People can have half their brain removed and the other half can take over remaining functionality. Are you telling me that after doing such an amazing task you don't think a fully functional brain is capable of rewiring itself to merely change how well it can process a certain set of information?

What a sad sad life you must live. Limiting yourself and believing you cannot do something. Not everyone wants to wallow in pity and failure. They want to succeed and do what they dream of! They will learn anything to make it happen because they know they are not limited by any imaginary limit.

If everything in the universe is logical then explain this:

Quran (7:80-84) - "...For ye practice your lusts on men in preference to women: ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds.... And we rained down on them a shower (of brimstone)" - An account that is borrowed from the Biblical story of Sodom. Muslim scholars through the centuries have interpreted the "rain of stones" on the town as meaning that homosexuals should be stoned, since no other reason is given for the people's destruction. (Inexplicably, the story is also repeated in three other suras: 15:74, 27:58 and 29:40).

Once you've reached adulthood and your brain is fully developed, I don't think you can improve your intelligence anymore. At that point all you can do is improve your knowledge through rote memorization and develop new skills through muscle memory.

Sure you could score better on IQ tests by practicing taking IQ tests, but again that's just another example of rote memorization and muscle memory. I don't think it proves you're actually getting smarter than you were beforehand.

A person's capacity for raw intelligence, meaning how quickly they can learn things and grasp new concepts, is heavily influenced by genetics.

Yes we do have the power to adapt but that doesn't mean we can rewire ourselves to have infinite information and continuously grow.
such a thing is called "Compensating"

I don't limit myself i believe i can reach my max potential i believe in science and the truth.
I dont want to wallow in pity and failure also i will succeed what i dream of but i know the fact that humans have limits.
Limits are not imaginary to say they are is to say human potential is limitless which is just plain stupidity.

Also everything in the world is logical what you posted is logical it can be explained by science via how humans act and believe there is nothing illogical about humans doing something irrational infact it's normal for a human to be irrational.

once again you have proven you don't know what you are talking about if the universe had one thing that wasn't logical then well we might as well say the laws of physics don't exist.

Everything can be explained.

More or less unless some new research comes out with another theory this is the most prevelant and widely accepted theory

I'm learning new concepts all of the time. Heck I am learning Japanese because why the fuck not, never tried to learn till in college. Actually as an adult I learned so many foreign concepts I had a tough time grasping that my brain was exploding. So much sleeping after school to rewire my brain.

So I am learning from this thread the reason some people are so bad at computers. They think like this
