I have been a paid Crunchyroll member for a number of years now and lately it has become almost unusable. I mostly use a Roku 2 and Roku 3 and shows start very slowly and have to buffer several times before playing. This weekend I tried using the web browser and I was getting "Wait 10 seconds due to high traffic." type messages. When Crunchyroll is failing to load I can open Netflix and instantly play HD. I have a high speed 150+ Mbs connection so I don't feel the problem is on my end. Is this known and being addressed by Crunchyroll?

Ellation (CR's parent company) is working on deploying a new infrastructure to improve overall performance: https://medium.com/ellation-tech/stabilizing-improving-crunchyroll-service-c44c53789e86.

There is currently no date for when the new infrastructure will go live.

This is Roku-specific issue that we are aware of. Do you have any other devices you could watch through?
