Pretty sure it's just me since I can see comments on new episodes but, I can't see the video player on any anime if I'm using the flash player. If I switch the the html5 player I can see the video player but the video keeps loading and never plays.

I haven't had any luck in Chrome or Firefox. The video doesn't load at all. I can also see the comments fine below the episode slider.

Same problem. Nothing I've tried with flash settings/reload/other browsers fixes it.

So the player does not load? Or is there a black rectangle?

The first is definitely due to Flash not being specifically allowed on the Crunchyroll website in your browser.

Coming back to say it worked itself out. Didn't change anything or restart since trying earlier and it just works now.

Problem here too, tried both Edge and Chrome with their built-in Flash. Nothing shows up today. Was working fine yesterday. Also tried it inside a somewhat clean Win 10 Pro VM. No go. No videos show up.

Crunchyroll is the only reason i have Flash enabled at all. When will a HTML5 player become available?

I did verify everything by following instructions at https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html. Not that i had changed anything on my PC.

CR has an HTML5 player available in beta to Premium+ members. VRV.co also has an HTML5 player available; you can link your CR and VRV accounts to share premium, if you are in the United States.

If it was really the way to go, Crunchyroll would have a button in accounts page to convert my account to VRV. Obviously there is something big that is missing for them to not have a straightforward conversion option. Besides, I have annual Crunchyroll membership that i'd have to throw away to signup for their premium bundle.

Lastly, sometime in last 5-10 minutes, videos show up again. I guess I got OP spot, now that they cant see videos. Sorry OP. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You'll need to create a VRV account first, and link accounts. CR Premium status is shared whether you're paying on VRV or CR.
