So, after frustrating over the ever changing programming job (1400 dollars a month) and wanted to be a farmer. I have concluded that even MC Donald requires you to be a cashier from 8 to 5 or to be a decent fry cook. So, I want to know if you guys know of an easy job with good pay, or a 20 dollars/hour easy job. Surely people with a job got much to say about this, let me hear about it, hard or easy

I'm assuming you meant 3,000 dollars a month? :p Because I made 1500 dollar every two week when I was working at the Court House as a PC Tech.

I think programmer make more than PC tech..

Edit

About the Mcdonald part, I heard that only in California, that you make $20.00 an hours. I also read that the Nurse quit their job to work at Mcdonald, because they make like 5 or 7 dollar more. So that sounded like Nurse only make 10 or 12 dollar an hours?

Also isn't California very expensive to live in?

I live in California, no McDonald's Employees don't make $25-27/hr. They get paid more than average if they work in the Bay Area or more populated cities like $12-13/hr while in other areas of Cali the average is like $10-11/hr. And yes California is very expensive to live, if you live in or near the populated cities.

I'm working in Taiwan so only 1400 dollars a month, it is even less for programmers in China =/. This salary is pretty decent already consider my sister is earning 1000 dollars a month as an HR. Someone working at MC Donald here in Taiwan would get paid 1200 dollars a month for a full time job. I did apply to MC Donald before in Taiwan, more than once . But they didn't hire me.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of programming were you doing? Experience/languages you're familiar with? I've been in games programming for most of my career, which isn't easy, but does pay better... could go for something that lets you write code to do the job for you, like automation work, duplication labs which need 'fingerprints' on pre-release distribution DVDs, that kind of thing. (ETA: Just saw your post about being in Taiwan, so my suggestions may not be applicable to you, I'm based in the US)

Heh, in my area (Kansas) the Mcdonald here have 24 hours drive thu, and I stop by Donut place at 5am in the morning, and the (Mcd right across the street from donut place) lady was looking out of the drive thu window, she looked bored since Customers rarely get their food at midnight to 5am! :p

So I was thinking I bet she made easy money just by standing there all night! XD Just that she only one over there, noone to talk with for all night. XD

Oh, Mcd here only make Minimum Wages.. so that $7.25 an hour! XD I'm sure that lady is manger so she probably make like what 12 to 15 an hour.. heh

ASPX, C#, Oracle, for web pages PDM product management, some JQuery. I am just modifying the codes but mostly linking various databases then attempt to complete the user interface based on the user's request.

Not familiar with farming, but if I ever do farming I will go automation. Then there would be trade off between fertilizer and crops so I probably wouldn't go with it. I've thought about land use but I want some perpetual slow money income. I'd go with a house for rent or a net cafe but as bare land I'd probably make a contract for solar power

P.S. Hmm that's a good idea, I should purchase a house for rent

Hmm if your going to stay in Taiwan, cant really be helped under the 1 China system. If you were here in the states there are any number of option. Near Seatte WA USA there is a Nintendo video game testing site where ppl are paid to play games and find bugs. Same for Microsoft campus just a bit north of Seattle. Those jobs I believe are $20ish USD per hour. I myself am a low voltage electrician. so its mostly fiber optics, Cat6 and Audio/visual... pretty laid back work and pay is $30+ USD hr
