Hello eveyone,
I'm doing a project at school, and I need to make kimchi..
Well, beacause I'm not Korean, so I don't know how to make it nor does make familys..
So I really need help..


I have a lot of question to ask too...I hope someone can help me... I really need this
project to turn out good or else i'm dommm....


Please help me if you have the recipe to make the kimchi!!!!




Because I never got a chance to try kimchi... I want to know:
_- does the kimchi taste sour too or is it just salty and spicy?
_- how long does it take for the kimchi to be ready to eating after you make it?..
_- does temperture where you put the kimchi effect how long will it take, for the kimchi to be ready?...
Or
_- does the temperture of the water that you soak to caggage effect, how long does it take, for the kimchi to be ready?

Mhm.. Well my mom made Kimchi like a few days ago o.o ... I rember her putting Fish oil, salt ( sea salt) , red pepper powder, red pepper paste, and well duhh the main base is Cabbage. Ah.. i dont know wat else she puts in it. But there is this white stuff u needa put in it to... Mhmm...

I know the first step is to have a big bowl of salty water and put the kimichi in it. U needa leave it there for like.. mostly all day, Then you wash the Kimchi and salten it again without water. Just like rub the salt all over the cabbage. THen u put these white stuff in x-x i dunno wat it is ... I dont know wat the other steps are >_< sorry.. I dont like watching my mom make Kimchi x.x its tooo tiriing,

Its not sour. Its mostly spicy.. and crunchy...

Like i said Mostly takes all day when u soak it in sea salt water. Uhh the temperature. Its like cold. i think..

this is a website for it. good luck!! betw, why do you want to make this? making kimchi is troublesome! and:-
- kimchi IS sourish and very spicy and also a little stinky. you should buy some to eat so you know how yours should taste like.

hoepfully you didn't procrastinate on your project because kimchi takes a long time to make...you have to wait a couple of days so it can be fermented
