I didn't see a support Category for the AmazonFire. Please move this post if there is one.

i have two issues with the app.

1. Going back into the app there is an error in which no shows, show up. Like it's not connected to the server. It happens if I use the app then don't use the app on the AmazonFire for two days, go back into the app and all my data is gone. What makes it worse is that it looks like I'm logged into the app, which leads me to issue two.
2. I can't logout. It gives me and error stating "Unable to Log out" when I attempt to when issue one is happening. I just wanted to log out and log back it so all the shows will appear again.

Current back end solution:
I have to Clear the Data and Force Stop through the Settings menu (in this order)
Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Apps > Crunchyroll > Force Stop
Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Apps > Crunchyroll > Clear Data
Then launch the app again, and re log in again.

I just wanted to report this and see if there is a resolution.

I have the issues all the time with mine Fire TV Stick,I know what the problem is, the app keeps running the background and does not stop. I have already started to talk to support, right now all the person said to do was Uninstall and re-install

Update: so the person said we are supposed to log off and then log back in every-time we are done with Cruncyroll app, and that should fix our problem

Not sure if this is to be understood that we literally need to log out from the settings menu in the app, and then have to put a password in each time we start it again, but going that far isn't necessary.

All you have to do is press the back-arrow button enough times to back out of the menu, until you get to a screen that says:

Exiting Crunchyroll APP
Are you sure you want to exit the Crunchyroll app?


And then choose the "Yes" button. After doing that, it doesn't lose your queue, so you can go back in without having to re-enter your id and password each time.

Definitely don't simply press the "home" button when exiting unless you won't be away for very long.

That is how I exit CR, however I still lost my queue twice with the unable to log out problem.

Yes that is what i was told was supposed to fix our issues and I do not agree with them

the problem is not logging out of app, it is that fact that we are losing our queue and have to go through so many steps to fix the issue
