http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-972595/stream-crashes-mid-episode

It's happening again. It didn't happen for a few months after this post, but I've dealt with it happening for a couple of weeks now, and I'm really starting to get seriously annoyed that I pay a company to crash their own streams so that they can watermark what I'm watching.

I understand the need for the watermarking, but it's ridiculous that there isn't even proper code(or coders) that can make sure that your PAID SUBSCRIBERS don't have to deal with crashed streams mid-episode because of the aforementioned watermarks.

I am also having this problem. Watching fullscreen when it randomly just stops, watermark with my username pops up at top of video, CR symbol pops up in top right of video, and the time bar at the bottom resets to 0:00. I have to reload the page to resume the video.

By using Crunchyroll, you agree to the Terms of Service , which includes:

THE SITE, SERVICES, Crunchyroll CONTENT AND ANY OTHER CONTENT MADE AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SITE OR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITH NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. ELLATION EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE SITE, SERVICES, Crunchyroll CONTENT AND ANY OTHER CONTENT MADE AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SITE OR SERVICES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF QUALITY... IN ADDITION, ELLATION MAKES NO REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY THAT THE SITE, SERVICES, Crunchyroll CONTENT OR ANY OTHER CONTENT MADE AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SITE OR SERVICES WILL BE ERROR FREE OR THAT ANY ERRORS WILL BE CORRECTED. SOME STATES OR JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

translation: content on Crunchyroll is provided as is. you agree that Crunchyroll won't have to fix any bugs that may interfere with video playback even if you're a paid user. basically, premium users will have to "deal with it", switch to VRV (a higher tier subscription, which doesn't seem to be affected by the bug) or move on to competing services with better customer service - some of which even let you download and watch anime series offline.

This has been happening to me for at least a week. Does anyone know how to fix it?

How is that pertinent? CR may not be "legally obligated" to provide a usable service, but that doesn't affect the facts that (1) people are reporting a real bug to CR via the appropriate channel; and (2) a content streaming company that cannot reliably stream content isn't going to be in business for very long -- regardless of whether their ToS says too bad suckers.

Also having this issue.

Videos simply stop, watermark pops up and I have to reload the page to continue watching, sometimes it does save where I was and sometimes I have to jump the video with the time bar.

That only means we can't sue Crunchyroll if they don't fix bugs.
It doesn't mean we can't complain or worse: leave.

Do you know what's worse than paying customers who leave?
It's not knowing why they're leaving.

In a sense, complaining customers are the best customers, as they point out problems that might make other customers leave, and they're giving you an opportunity to fix your mess before they leave as well.

I know someone who's been working in Complaint Management in a relatively large company. According to that person, less than 1% of all unsatisfied customers actually complain. So for every complaint you receive, you have to assume at least 100 people are unhappy.

This stopped happening to me for weeks and now here it is happening again. I can't even get through 2 minutes of an episode of Boruto before this happens. I don't want to use VRV because I like the queue and comment features on Crunchyroll.
