They think I'm a girl and I've been called a fag a few times because of my name.
My name is Ashley btw and I'm a boy.

My name is (although unique to other countries) very common in my country and I don't like it,
I usually like it when people use my last name instead, that is a lot more unique ^^

boy do i hate my real name. my first name sounds waaaaay too formal for me, but my nickname that nearly everybody uses is weird, and i kinda hate it. i would much prefer being called snow or snowy, or even mimi, but i dont think many people would go along with it

I just prefer being called Onii chan, or Aniki, or Nii Sama.

I go by my surname/ last name in real life because of how common my first name is.
I don't mind it, I like it although perhaps I wish it was less common so I could actually use my first name outside of family functions
I feel like my first name is pretty neutral anyway so, no I don't think I am stereotyped from it.
I also doubt anyone has one about my last name either, since it is pretty uncommon in the US, and I use an anglicized pronunciation of it so I doubt most can tell its origin.

Not really. Never heard and nor will I I don't like Johnny Cash.

My name is from Ashley J Williams

Actually I do like my name the only thing I hate is the cutesy petnames that my name comes to especially in relationships.
I don't even like people to shorten it to Ash.
