Absolutely not. Anyone says lol, kek, ROFL, lmao (how the fuck would you even pronounce that anyway??) or brb gets a firm slap in the mouth from me if I catch them uttering such blue-blooded murder of the language. Or at least a severe finger wagging.

i used to say it a lot some years ago when it was kinda cool but i eventually banned it from my vocabulary. However last year i started using it ironically and ever since then i'm using it on a daily basis. I feel like i should stop saying it, but i just generally don't care if it's uncool or overused.

I think the real question is: do you pronounce it "el-oh-el" or just "lol" (like "roll")?

Yes, I do. In fact, I even take it one step further. I've also taken to using emoticons in my everyday vocabulary as well, such as 'sadface' when things don't go my way or 'happyface' when things are good, which is weird because my face will rarely show whatever emotion I'm actually feeling.

I personally like "Hahaha", because it is closest to how I laugh.

I normally use "lol" or "haha" and such on Crunchyroll because I find their emojis aren't similar to the joking one I use on my phone. The emojis don't represent what I'm trying to convey so I use "lol" or "haha" instead. Their meaning is more overt and straight-forward.
