of course alot of anime clothes look better then real clothes sold in shops most clothing is too simplistic everyone seems to have this retarded idea that over complex clothing is bad.

The more complex and unique clothing is the better belt buckles etc are very cool esspecialy arm ones but apparently i'm in a minority for thinking that alot of people think it looks stupid and nerdy and weeby but i have always admired how cool it looks.

i would never wear arm belt buckles due to the shit people give others but to those who do i admire them it looks amazing!

CR does not have the money to go into the clothing market and on top of it they would require licenses and pass some of the profit to the publisher. Something like this would never be profitable for them and could make them bankrupt so great idea.

And just to explain why the coat is garbage.
1. Anime fans don't want to let everyone know they are anime fans.
2. It looks goth so mostly goth people will like it.
3. It looks childish as shit so only a certain age group can buy it and if it's expensive they're not gonna have the money.

Anime clothing is designed to sell the manga/anime by drawing the eyes of fans to them. They're colourful or drawn in a way to best show off the 2D/3D visuals. Many wouldn't sell for daily wear except for cosplay. No, I'm not likely to want to wear them either.

I'm only about to do cosplay this weekend because someone else got me a costume. I'm capable of making my own but I don't feel the need to put time and effort into that.

I would be down to buy alot of anime theme clothing providing that it was done well and not just some cheap crap thrown together. The problem is for it to really be done well there is such a limited market base its just basically anime con cosplay. So the price would be through the roof. Pft forget what people think about the way you chose to look/dress its much more fun to laugh at the things people can not pick and chose like how they were born with a wonky eye or a huge forehead. =p

Considering the sheer amount of cosplay I did in my childhood and teen years I can confidently say even well made anime clothing is not exactly comfortable for daily wear. The simple long coats and military style outfits are easy to wear but when you get to the real visually appealing outfits they become a pain to wear. Especially anything with multiple buckles or wavy pieces. And that layered stuff , gets rather warm after awhile.

Then when jewellery gets involved it gets even worse. And forget about makeup, that part always sucks.

1.Expensive.

2.We would look like weebs.

3.Even normies would tag you as a weeb.

4.Anime fans would be disgusted.

5.You will end up scaring away people.

I'm sorry it's just you can't dress up like that.Only if you are cosplaying then yes.
But you must face reality,we can't bring anime in real life or act like we are in it.

Something like the coat that Kirito wears in sword art online. Even if there were much less detail, it would still look so much better than 99% of Spring/Fall coats.

Kirito just wears a cloth trench coat with white trim on it and the collar up. My friend wears one frequently. Here is a leather trench coat

I'l keep this short and make every single last word as useful to this topic as possible.

So in short, I was thinking that a lot of you would be interested in this topic.

The topic being, something I very strongly feel would be of use to some of you.

Anywayyyssssss.

Would you wear anime style clothes if it was well done, even if it's very expensive?

I feel like the Crunchyroll store could turn into something more if they started designing special clothing that would generally be simple in accessories and colors but also good looking. Something like the coat that Kirito wears in sword art online. Even if there were much less detail, it would still look so much better than 99% of Spring/Fall coats.

If you make something unique you'd like to wear. Other people probably would be interested in it too.

You feel me? Am I rubbing some of you the right way? ;)

Yea? You like that? ;)

It depends on the outfit...

And how in shape you are.

I would be willing to dress like Alucard but not like Madoka.
