Very strange. Since season 2 of Attack on Titan started I've been watching it on this iPad. Tonight I didn't see the newest ep show up on my queue. I tried going to view the episode in several different ways but no go. I logged out and logged back in, nope. None of the season 2 episodes are showing up (though as I said, I've been watching them). It even says there are 36 episodes available, but when I view the show page, I only see 25 (1st season).

However, on 2 of my Macs I see season 2 and can watch them. What is going on?!

Hi sdsichero,

I got a similar issue. Though when I tried to watch it this morning on my phone it was saying that AoT didn't even exist on crunchyroll. When I searched for it on the app on my computer it said the same thing. However, searching for it on the web browser finds the show but it doesn't have any episodes listed?

I think it's a general error with the show itself and how it's stored on their servers. Maybe a section of one of their drives got corrupted and Attack on Titan was saved in that spot. I don't know. Hopefully it's fixed soon though.

Clear your cookies, probably, or else you are travelling to a different country?

Go to the contact page, scroll down to see what the "Detected Country" is here: /contact

That doesn't really explain why season 1 shows up. Does season 2 have a higher rating than season 1?

Also, again, watched every previous episode on that device.

Maturity ratings can change with device manufacturer requirements (Sony may have different standards than Microsoft, or Apple), or complaints, or with a recent single episode in the middle of a running series that for some reason "crossed the line" and now that makes all the episodes fall under the new rating. This has happened in the past on other shows as well (Valvrave comes to mind). Maybe the first season didn't have anything objectionable in it, or maybe, since it was a couple years ago they are treated separately for the maturity content.

Bottom line, did you try to change your maturity setting, and if you did, can you see the shows now?

I set my Preferences to show mature content, no change in the app. Sorry should have specified the app, worked in safari yesterday.

Quit app, restarted nope. Logged out of app, restarted, nope.

What country are you in? Maybe your ISP got a new block of addresses which don't resolve the country correctly, but your cookies are still set on your Macs, so those still work...

Ok, that's truly weird then... Do you have a different PC, tablet, phone, etc, (other than the Macs that work) that you can open a web browser, (making sure you are going through your home router, not 4G or something) and visit this link to scroll down just above the page footer to see what country gets detected: http://www.crunchyroll.com/contact

Another thought is to open that contact link in a web browser on the iPad itself to see what country it finds. That would be the most accurate test. (or visit https://www.iplocation.net/ )

Yeah, my ipad sees united states of america on the contact site.

Just tried it on my iPhone and it gives me the same issue. Seems like it might be an iOS app problem.

Are you using the app when you try to view things?

Hmmnn I wonder if it is a current season thing. I noticed that another show, My Hero Academia lists over 20 episodes, but when I checked, I only see 13…

I "borrowed" my wife's iPhone, and it seemingly had the same symptoms as yours for both AOT and MHA. Episode count is correct but when you go to the series it only shows the first season.

However, I found a "season" button right below the full text description blurb that at first says "season 1" and then there is a little grey triangle on the right of that. press that triangle, and "season 2" magically becomes a choice that you can select, and there I found the rest of the shows.

Thanks! That's funny, I was just conversing with Crunchyroll support and they pointed this out to me about 10 minutes before I read this.

It is very strange because I have been watching for weeks and this behavior just started this weekend. You'd think that if you went Anime -> Seasons -> Spring 2017, it would default to showing Season 2, but… I'm guessing they changed something on the backend that resulted in this change, but I don't know.

Thanks a lot for helping out so much!
