I was actually talking about this to a friend of mine on here recently. Where I live movie tickets are usually $7.00 but in the evening it goes up to $12.00 and I don't even know why. But there's also a different theater that I go to that is only $5 but it's on the west side of town which is the opposite of where I live so I don't go to that one very much because of how far away it is.

i don't get it. What is the CC anyway ?

i'm pretty sure CC means captions... ask a manager at theater to be sure

btw, T-mobile Tuesday is giving out $4 tickets again (also Atom) -- for Transformers the last night :)

i saw that.

Transformers 5 ? it's already on the number 5 ? is it Transformer the Last movie ?

Here in Memphis, TN it's around $10 it seems the more urbanized the area the more expensive the tickets.

There are two nearby theaters I know of off the top of my head.
One in Hanover, NH - $10 regular/ $12.75 3D
Another in Lebanon, NH- $9.75 Reg/ $11.50 3D

So, middle of the road I guess?
I lived in Phoenix for a little while and tickets were ~3-4$ more minimum, from what I saw.

Depends on the movie theater.
IMAX and other big shot is usually around $16 a ticket or more not counting the 3D glasses ($4) when applicable.
Private movie theater which has less screening goes between $9 and $13.

Ironically, you should also ask the price of the food at those movie theaters since... let's face it... a movie at the movie theater without any food such as a good buttery pop-corn is not the same as with said good buttery pop-corn. ;)

In my case, the cost of what I consider "enough" pop-corn and drink for at least 3/4 of the movie, it's around $8.

So overall, the movie + food comes around $17 or more.
