For instance I learned that Chris Columbus discovered America, when it truth it was Amerigo Vespuchi or something like that. Columbus got as far as the carribbean/west indies,....don't quote me on that last part my memory fails me in old age

basically all of it... too many useless subjects... i once asked my teacher if learning this chunk of crap increase my chances of a better job or pay... she said no but it's in the effin' curriculum... who the hell comes up with this stuff...?

amerigo vespuchi did not discover america. columbus actually went to south america along with the carribean. i think Cortez himself(1521) and Pizzaro(1531) set foot on america long before vespuchi. america is named america because a german mapmaker named the new world after amerigo.

anyway, once in gym we had to learn about bambmitten (probably spelled that wrong) and where it originated from. we were all like "why the hell do we want to learn about bambmitten?" and then we had to take a test on it and i failed
