Im with every single one of these posts.
Ive been a membe for about 2 years now, a PAYING member, and yet ive had multiple issues with the website, and the xbone app.
Up until now ive tolerated it, but this has actually annoyed the shit out of me. Ive just canceled my sub recently Mostly due to the shitty server.
Its fucking 2017 CR, Get your shit together.

For a website that is constantly up to date with the newest trends, your server quality is absolute bs, and your xbone app is riddled with bugs, and has been for a long time, but dont worry you "dealing" with the bugs.

You would think, something that crashes on startup would be high in your priority list, but it honestly pales in comparison to the bundles of money you're racking in from a service that only works 60% of the time. And thats being generous.

I was having this issue on my Xbox 1 consistently, and after trying all the fix tips I started to figure something out. If you make sure to quit the crunchyroll app EVERY time before you turn off your Xbox 1, you shouldnt keep getting the server error notification upon launch. (It may not help during super busy times, but since starting this habit i haven't seen the server error in 2 months. This might not work for everyone but if it does start working right away make sure you don't forget to quit before powering off or it will revert to server error all over again.

i just recently came back to crunchy roll and i'm already regretting it, seeing as it never works on my xbox one and if i'm gonna be forced to watch it anime on my comp i can do it for free

I'm having this same problem EVERYDAY there is a server error. Seriously, what am I paying for if I can't watch? Is there any way around this? Or maybe anyway to fix this? There's nothing more annoying than throwing money away for a site that won't work. I don't see any response here from crunchyroll. Did they respond to anyone? Apparently we are all paying customers? I want a refund, since I'm only paying for access to an error message at this point. Grrr!

Agreed. CR and Ellation has had half a year or more to fix this. That they are unwilling to own up to the problem makes me hope a competitor would provide some real options and service.

No online service like this could ever stay in business. CR is surviving off of what little remaining customer loyalty they have left.

I'm only experiencing the server error for the Anime section of the app. I can load up 'My Queue', 'My History' and 'Drama' with no server error...

This is quite frustrating. Getting tired of filing reports on the problem with no solution being implemented.

Thanks Lance for the info but they don't even have a phone line . #1 wait #2 deactivate device then try to sign in, (might not always work), #3 if you really need to watch something, play anything with alot of eps and make your xbox run(not really a good idea but if you really need to go for it). I've tryed deleting everything, reinstalling, hard resets, deleted history and queue, every thing that the forums says even quit every time when I'm not watching anything. Don't know what to say. Just wish that they would fix it. As well sorry for taking awhile to get back to you.

I figured I'd follow up on this. I own both an Xbox One and PS4. The Xbox One app has had nothing but issues this entire year. I tried my PS4 CR app instead for the last couple week and have seen no issues so far.

I prefer the Xbox app since the Xbox controller stays charged MUCH longer than the PS4 controller. Also, I will likely get an Xbox One X, but not a PS Plus or PS5.

I found my fire stick. If I can find my fire remote I'll go to that and see if it is any better. Only works in the wee hours lately.
