Okay so I'm a massive Neil Gaiman fan, and when I saw the poster for Stardust, I nearly cried. So right now I'm totally counting down the days until Aug. 10th. But of course everyone that I've asked about it has been like "Stardust? What's that?" So I'm wondering if anyone else out there shares my level of excitement? All I have to say is that I really hope that they do it justice. I mean, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Mirrormask, but gosh...has anyone seen the BBC version of Neverwhere? So freaking awful. My ray of hope is that they got a lot of big name actors to take part in this movie so...with any luck it'll do well. Let me know what you think.

I don't think I share your level of excitement, but it does look like a movie I would enjoy. =]

Although I worship Neil, I didn't like Stardust that much. My mom loved the book, though.

While Stardust isn't my favourite thing by Gaiman, I did really enjoy the book, and when I saw the poster advertisement of the movie I did a double-take before screaming at my boyfriend (we were on a date), "WHAT THE EFF IS THAT REALLY STARDUST AHHH!" XDDD; Basically anything Neil Gaiman gets me that excited, though.

I've only seen one episode of the BBC Neverwhere series and don't remember exactly disliking it. :/ I've got it on hold at the library, though, so maybe I can edit my opinions on it later. But I really don't like the idea of putting big name stars in it (I never like that idea). I can't think of any big star I would enjoy watching in those roles. Suggestions, anyone? :O

My sister was on Myspace and I was like, "Wait...is that..STARDUST??? OMG!! THAT IS SUCH A GOOD BOOK!!! THE MOVIE'S OUT NOW???" I kept going on about it and I think my sister was getting annoyed lol

And yeah, I've been waiting for this movie for the longest time!!!!! It better be good

Okay so I was watching the trailer on the dreaded youtube...it doesn't look like it follows too close to the book, so I'm getting kind of scared. Although, from what I've seen it still looks awesome. *squeals in delight*...

And for you Neil Gaiman fans out there...be sure to check out Beowolf in November. He exec produced it and co-wrote the screenplay.

i read an interview with neil, and he said he approved of the movie so that's plenty good enough for me. i can't wait, though it's been a long time since i read the book, i really can't remember much of it.

they need to hurry up and make the death movie
