Title. I don't post on forums much, so I thought I would set up an AMA for my 10 years with CR. Anyone have any questions? I'll leave this up for a bit and reply ASAP!

Here's to the next 10 years CR!

Ten years ago I was an avid WoW player; I had a full raiding schedule 3 days a week and I ended up losing my subscription because of costs (16 year okds don't mske much money). I was always wrapped up in how well my guild was performing without me, because they were a second family to me; I owe a lot of my teambuilding skills to that group. My biggest concern was not being able to devote my time to the people I bonded with.

My biggest concern currently is where I will be working after grad school. I'm finishing my MFA in December and I have been spending the past three years setting the groundwork to get my foot in the door at a community college. Mu dream has always been to be a JC instructor since undergrad, and I'm worried about not reaching my goals after all the work I've put in.

Thanks for asking!

America is a bit too large to make great on my own. Spend every day trying to build up those you care about and share your experiences with others. Be challenged, learn, share, and build your community; community meaning the ones you directly influence.

From an anime perspective, there is more focus on dedicating as many resources to quality subs for as much anime as possible. I remember when there was inconsistency between the less popular titles and the more popular ones.

From a community perspective, nothing has really changed except the amount of information available for people to display. Everyone has the same general fears or questions in General forums: Why is x anime better/worse; What would you do...; Insert Conspiracy Theory here.

Something I enjoy is that the warrant for most postings is "Do you acknowledge that I am here?"
It may be words on a screen from anons that you may never meet, but there is always a connection between forum posters, no matter the conditions/emotions/intent of the post. Watching anime won't get you made fun of if you're the sport star on campus or if you have something serious you are going through. You can be vocal about liking anime and the reaction isn't "ew" anymore (unless you watch dubs, you losers ).
