Hand on her hips, the other extended out with her palms open, a girl with long raven hair locked eyes with a certain juvenile.

"Give it to me."

She demanded with no explanation.

The juvenile rubbed his chin, rather entertained yet obviously bemused by the lack of context the girl presented to him. "Wellll, Haa-chan~ that's rather inappropriate in broad daylight. If you want it that badly, shouldn't you wait until we're in a private, secluded place? Like maybe an empty classroom or maybe even better... my room?"

Hatsu should have known from the the moment he whispered her name in that breathy tone that he was gonna spout all kinds of bullshit. She should have stopped him midway, but that entrancing stare of his was secretly her weakness—always causing her to freeze in place. In contrary to being frozen, Hatsu's cheeks were burning up into a fiery flare.

"S-stupid!" She stumbled over her words as she frantically looked around to make sure no one heard the ridiculous suggestions he just made.

His lips pulled up into a little grin seeing Hatsu's flustered expression. While she was distracted, he took this chance to take her still extended hand and curl her fingers back into her palms before pressing his lips against them. "How about a kiss instead?"

Big mistake kissing the demon president's hands when it's curled into a fist. The idiot boy was now sprawled on the floor, rubbing his cheeks in pain.

"CHIHARU-SENPAI." She roared out as she shook off her inflamed fist. Hatsu was clearly annoyed, but she tried to calm her temper before someone saw this scene and more rumours exploded. "I want the money from your club's funds."

"That's embezzlement."

"AND WHAT YOU DID WAS SEXUAL HARASSMENT."

Hatsu lost her shit and shook her head. She wondered how Azuki was doing right now... trying to collect club funds was no easy task. Especially for Chiharu's dumb, "SS Club".The student council gave a 10000 yen budget for Chiharu's club, but according to the accounting Azuki did there should be A LOT of left over money since the club was small and didn't need to use up all that money—which brings us back to the beginning of this post and why Hatsu looked like a loanshark...

Ahh, Azucchi, I hope you're having better luck with the club you're at than I am... sighs.

Meanwhile, at Azuki's side....

"Excuse me," A rather snobby looking boy in a stuffy suit pushed his thick glasses back to the bridge of his nose. "I believe our club has already paid its contribution 2.5 weeks in advance, Murakami-san. Perhaps you should double-check your records so this doesn't happen again."

The snide, condescending tone of his voice made her lose whatever confidence she had at that point. "Of course, only commoners could make this sort of mistake." She could hear the other members snickering at her and she tried to ignore the sting to her chest that it brought.

"The Business Leaders of The Future World has only paid ¥100 yen..." Azuki's voice became feeble. "According to your latest club revenue, your club should be more than well-off and--"

"That's our money that we raised up on our own. While the Student Council was running off nagging the whole student body, we were making money and practicing for when we become business leaders, for the real world. You all should be lucky we're generous enough to donate as much as ¥100. Now if you have nothing else to say, we humbly request for you to leave; we have far more important business to at--"

"Didn't you hear her?"

A tall, blond male in kendo uniform stepped in front of Azuki. He stood tall, fierce, and protective as he held back the snarl in his voice. "She said you guys didn't pay her enough. The Student Council keeps your shitty-ass club in check, so cough up the damn money or else," he drew out his kendo blade and held it hairs away from the boy's neck, his eyes glaring daggers right into his, "I'll make you pay."

The transaction went easier then. With the Business Club's president just seconds from peeing himself, the two siblings were able to collect more than enough payment needed.

"For a club that's abbreviated BL-TFW, they really do enjoy having a stick up their asses." Seiji muttered to himself earning a bubbling laughter from his little sister. With years of practice, he hid his blush easily.

"Wait, wait, I gotta tell Hatsu-san this," Azuki giggled as she took out her phone, taking a quick selfie with her, her brother, and the trembling Business Club in the background.

➨ We got the funds from the business club!!!
➨ Only a few more clubs to go!!! I hope its going well over there too!!!
➨ Also did u kno what oniichan just said???
➨ He said "For a club thats abbreviated bl-tfw they rly do enjoy having a stick up their asses" I CAN'T BREATHE OMG

"Who's next?" Seiji asked, rolling his shoulders to release the stiffness in them. He didn't mind playing as Azuki's bodyguard since she's able to get her work done much faster when there's somewhere there to help enforce to rules, but keeping the uniform - breastplate, shoulder guard, and everything else on but the helmet - gets a little tiring after a while.

"Let's see..." Azuki flipped open her notebook. "The archery club is close by, I think!"

Seiji rolled his neck and each crack he made caused the business club's members to flinch. "Sounds good. Let's go."

"Ok!!!!!!!" Azuki beamed. With a skip to her step, she waved goodbye to the club as if there was no bad blood between them, and made her way to the archery club with her brother right behind her.

➨ good job bb, thats my azucchi ❤
➨ im still having trouble with chihuahua senpai over here uguguguu QTL
➨ akfajlfjafaj jeessus seiji-senpai is so lame dont tell him i laughed
➨ after ur done let's quickly get some food before heading back to the student council room we skipped lunch for this crap

At the archery club...

Nura went into stance and lifted his bow into perfect formation. Shoulders levelled, eyes on the target, blistered fingers underneath his gloves plucked across the strings. He drew back his arm until the string kissed the tip of his nose and lips.

Point. Aim. Shoot.

He shut one eye and released the bow. The arrow spiralled and flawlessly hit its mark.

Bullseyes.

Nura bowed to the third-years and wiped his sweat with the back of his gloves. Damn it was hot today. He discreetly loosened the kimono in his club uniform. Practice was long over, but he continued practicing anyways. As, he was getting ready to put away the equipment he overheard the senpais of his clubs mumbling worriedly to each other.

"Fuck, we owe the student council money!" "Didn't you borrow money to replace the old target dummies?" "Yeah, but we lost it!" "So, we have no money and and no equipment? The captain is gonna kill us! How do we explain that to them!?" "It's Murakami that's coming soon too, shit." "Murakami? The blonde 2nd year? So, what?" "I'm not worried about her, it's the older Murakami!" "...We're screwed."

Nura tiptoed to the club entrance and noticed the club captain fumbling over how to explain this blunder to Azuki and Seiji. Nura glanced over to Azuki and watched intensely as they exchanged words.

It suddenly felt hotter.

He shook his head and broke his gaze before scurrying to the change room. From his locker, he pulled out a huge envelope stacked with his living expenses for the next 3 months and gulped. Alright. It's ok. I had to cut down on shoujo womanga anyways. Nura nodded determinedly and went to his captain's rescue. "Taichou!" Nura called out and nonchalantly positioned himself across the Murakami siblings.

"I found the money." He announced, fully-knowing that the envelope was probably double the amount they had lost. He didn't care though. Nura further inspected Azuki now that she was close up. Silky blonde hair, dazzling blue eyes.

Using this as an excuse just to see her up close was worth it.

"Here." He shoved the envelope into Azuki's face with a glare and then backstepped into a run towards the change room again.

Azuki was patient, very patient with the archery club president. Perhaps it's because she's too trusting that she let him explain his excuses, or perhaps it's because he's one of the few people who didn't get offensive and attack her social standing just because they couldn't cough up what they owe. But she let him go on, even considering a compromise because she's that nice of a person.

Seiji, however, wasn't nearly as patient or as compromising. They came here for money, and money they were gonna leave with. He didn't voluntarily skip lunch to socialize and crap. He took a few steps forward from the small space of privacy he provided to Azuki and the Captain, intimidation at its max and ready to intervene, until Nura came forward.

“Oh-- MPHHFH!!” Azuki exclaimed before getting her face filled with a packet full of money. She gripped the envelope with both hands. Did she do something wrong? Was she being too forward? She thought she was being a nice person...

A frown fell on her lips as she saw him receding away. “Thank you!!!!” she called after him. The thought lingered in her mind for a second longer before she addressed the club captain with even more energy to make up for her lack of politeness. "The student council is very grateful for your cooperation!!!"

She bowed goodbye and then looked at Seiji as a silent signal for them to go. It took a moment before Seiji got it because his sights were still on the place where Nura once was.

"Sorry." Seiji's head snapped back to her. "Yeah, let's go."

It was when the two were out of the vicinity and Azuki was checking her messages that Seiji spoke up. "What was his problem?"

Azuki's frown returned. "The captain?"

"No, orange-haired boy." He said the words with forced calmness. He unconsciously rolled up the sleeves of his uniform and the veins of his forearm protruded as he clenched his hands into fists. "If he's looking for a fight, I'll give it to him - no problem."

Azuki remembered the exchange and the worry came back again. "Did I do something wrong? I don't think I did..." When most people were mean to her, they at least gave her a reason such as her being a commoner, or being empty headed and stupid and not knowing what she was doing, or being too friendly with people that were beyond her league; they were very verbal and forward with it. Except for this exchange, she couldn't find what prompted it. That saddened her even more.

"You didn't do anything wrong. Some people are just rude." Seiji reassured her. He placed a hand on her head and petted her hair. "What did kaichou say?"

"To meet up with her after we're done for lunch! Want to come with us?"

"Nah, you got stuff to do, just text me when you're done."

Azuki immediately brightened up to this, the affair from before completely forgotten."Okay!!!" She cheered.

➨ Just a few more clubs to go!!! See you soon!!!
➨ I'll be waiting at the cafeteria when were done!! Hopefully therell be red bean buns leftover ;;;;;;;;;

Hatsu glanced over her texts briefly before tucking the phone back into her blazer's pocket. Things still weren't going well on her end. Chiharu managed to slip back into the SS clubroom and Hatsu and him were playing a game of tug-of-war with the door right now.

"Even if you're the kaichou, isn't it a little rude to force your way in?" Chiharu managed to spit out through his obvious struggle with the door. He had to be careful with his strength or else the whole door could just tear right off. He didn't want to flatten his future wife into a pancake.

"Rude? You're the one refusing to give me your leftover club funds that you don't need." Hatsu also spat out behind a clearly irritated smile.

This went on and on for who knows how long until Hatsu finally gave up and let go of the door. "Mark my words, Chiharu Shugyoku. I'll be back." Hatsu rubbed her growling stomach. If she wasn't so hungry she could have lasted longer.

"Sure. I'll be waiting~" Chiharu sounded disinterested and gave a little wave before slamming the door on her face.

Yup. He was the rude one. Hatsu grumbled to herself and rushed to the cafeteria. Lunch was pretty much over and people one by one were already starting to empty the cafeteria. Hatsu pulled out a seat for herself and slammed her face down on the table. As hungry as she was, she was just as tired...

I'll just... wait here until Azucchi's done. Maybe I should I borrow Seiji-senpai to face Chiharu-senpai next time. That damn guy.

The rest of Azuki's money collection went smoothly and swiftly thanks to Seiji's help. They even had enough time to get cafeteria food. It may be leftovers, but food was still food.

Except...

"Hatsu-san..." Azuki sniffed and wiped the snot dripping from her nose with a tissue. It was as if the world was ending. She sat across from Hatsu and also laid her head on the table. "There's no more red bean bun... I was too late..."

She cried softly to herself for a bit to morn for her incredible loss before rising her head slightly. "There's only melon bread and pork bread left... you can have them, I don't want them...." She slid them towards Hatsu. "They remind me of broken dreams and missed opportunities."

She looked at her udon noodles and slurped a few strands. She didn't order cold udon, but they were cold anyway. The fact made her tear up again, but she fought it back. "Did everything go well on your side? I'll fight them if they were being mean to you!!!" As if to emphasize her point, Azuki flexed her invisible biceps.

"Thanks for your broken dreams and missed opportunities... itadakimasu... mmm. Delicious. Salty like my tears." Hatsu dug into the pork bun and gave a faraway gaze into the distance.

"Everything was going great! Until..." Hatsu whispered. "I got to the SS Club. You know the deal with that club. Totally exclusive. Hard to join. Even has connections backing it up and I heard rumours that you could get expelled for entering the club room if you're not a member."

Please fight Chiharu-senpai for me. Hatsu wanted to say, by giggled at Azuki's enthusiasm and even felt up her amazing fake biceps.

"How about you? Did you run into any problems? I was expecting you to be disappointed because of the archery club." Hatsu said as she reached for the bag of money that she collected and slid a small envelope across the table. "Since, I actually have the money right here. Turns out some idiot of the club lost it, I found it stuck between the trash bin on the 1st year floor."

"OOOOOOOOHHHHHHH, that club." Once the words left Hatsu's lips, Azuki's curiosity rose 1000%. She unconsciously leaned forward as Hatsu spoke, drinking the information in with star-struck eyes and wanting nothing more than to hear more. She even forgot to ask if Hatsu got the funds from that club because she was so absorbed. There was just something magical about that place; it was compelling enough to draw her in and yet, mysterious enough to keep her away. The fact that Hatsu was able to go there only increased her curiosity and her admiration for her.

Except, all of this quickly deflated once Hatsu talked about the archery club. Immediately, her entire face went white.

"Then..." She reached into her bag and pulled out the envelope the rude archery member threw at her. "W...What is this?"

Despite how slow she normally was, this clicked in very quickly. Whatever was in her hands right now was money that shouldn't be there - whether it's extra club funds or personal funds. And she was the one who so greedily took it from them.

No wonder he was angry at her.

"I HAVE TO RETURN THIS!!!!" Azuki announced and abruptly stood up. She grabbed her bag and food and was close to gunning for the door but as soon as she took the first few steps, she was walking back to the table. "Oh no, but lunch is going to end soon and I haven't eaten yet..."

She stepped towards the door again. "BUT THE MONEY!!!!!!!!!"

And then back. "But I don't know if they're even there anymore...."

And then forward. "BUT!!!!!!! THE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!"

And then back again. "But if I go, I'll be late to class again..."

She went back and forth like this, talking frantically to herself, unable to make a clear decision. The udon she was carrying was spilling on the floor from her lack of care and attention to it.

Hatsu continued on to munching the melon bun and smiled to herself as she watched each and every of Azuki's wild expression. "So, I'm guessing someone gave us their personal funds instead of the actual club funds...? Hm. Who is this student? Good cause or not, that's a violation for fraud in the student handbook."

Hatsu pulled out a mini notebook and already began jotting things down. "We have to report them. It's the right thing to do."

But, just as she said that the bell rang and signalled everyone to go to class.

"Wait, it's not good if the student body president is late for class... I have to make a good example! Sorry, Azucchi, let's talk about this after class!" Hatsu stuffed the last piece of bread in her mouth and quickly wiped the crumbs off the table. "Let's go!"

"But... but..." Azuki looked down at her bowl of udon and the small mess she's made on the floor. Guilt was clawing at her throat, making it difficult to speak. "It's because of me that he..."

She looked at her pitiful reflection on the rim of her bowl since the soup was too foggy to have that thoughtful, introspective scene that main characters would have right now. Even if he was rude, she wasn't going to get him in trouble for doing something so selfless. That wasn't right. That wasn't justice.

"Hatsu-san..." Azuki lifted her head and bit her lower lip. Her facial expression wasn't any better from the frantic mess she's currently in, but the guilt in her throat had cleared. "F-Forget what I showed you!!! I'm going to be late, I have u... um.... thing... doing... archery club business important not suspicious very quick bye!!!!!!!!" And with the last words a jumbled incoherent mess, she bolted out of the cafeteria leaving drops of soup behind.

Since the bell just rung, students had filled the main halls leading outside so she had to take an indirect route. Chewing frantically while running, she eventually swerved past the students in her way and made it out through a small hallway she's never taken. However, once outside, she had no idea what building she just exited... or where exactly she was anymore.

She drank her soup nervously. She didn't really think this through. Anyone in that club was probably at their classes right now. Also, since she went against Hatsu, she was probably in for a lot of trouble when she returned. It's the first time she's ever went against her, and yet...

A sudden pang hit her stomach and she clutched herself. Knife after knife stabbed into her and she crouched down, tears filling her eyes as she took the pain silently. Another big mistake: she shouldn't have eaten and ran at the same time. Now she's lost and dying.

Dumb... I'm so dumb... Her breath grew heavy as she reached out her phone and scrolled through her contacts for her brother. Another knife stabbed into her gut and she clutched herself even tighter. No, she can't call her brother now. Class was going to start soon. Even when she was in pain, the last thing she wanted was to cause trouble for someone else.

What am I going to do...

"H-Huh? Azucchi! Wait!" Hatsu reached out, but her best friend had already nyoomed out of the cafeteria. She scratched her cheeks and tilted her head to the side. It was clear as day Azuki wanted to return the money to the archery student and didn't want to get him in trouble. "Fine." Hatsu smiled to herself, although a bit worried that Azuki might unintentionally put herself into some kind of trouble. "I'll let it slip this time."

➨ k azucchi,, i'll tell sensei u had some student council stuff to wrap up
➨ whatever ur doing... ganbatte!

"Azuki-san?"

Dark hair with bangs cut straight over her eyes, a girl with the exact same face as Hatsu hovered above Azuki. She looked slightly disorientated as if she just woke up from a nap and nearly tripped over the blonde treasurer. She bent into a crouch beside Azuki and patted her back.

"What's wrong? Are you in pain?" Haru looked around and go figure the hallways was empty now and not a soul in sight. "Sorry, stupid question of course you are... I was on my way to the infirmary to take another nap. Do you want to come with me?" Haru flashed a nurturing smile and wrapped one hand around Azuki's shoulder.

Azuki noticed the push notifications and pulled them down to find Hatsu's texts. She smiled through the pain knowing that at least Hatsu wasn't mad at her. She could die semi-peacefully now... except, she couldn't die until she's delivered the envelope.

Her raised her head at the sound of her name being called. "Hatsu-san?" She squinted through her teary eyes and rubbed them behind her glasses so she could get a better look. The person in front of her was not Hatsu, but she was close. It was Haru. "I mean, Haru-san! Sorry, I--"

Another pang hit through her and she shut her eyes closed before opening them again. She drank more of the soup, forcing herself to finish it; as foolish as it may sound, she couldn't waste food with the limited funds she had herself. "The infirmary?" She groaned. The word sounded more like Haru said 'heaven' to her ears. "Okay, let's--"

A second later, she remembered her objective. Reluctantly, she shook her head. "Wait, first, I have to deliver this envelope to the archery club!!!" She tried to stand up, but the lingering pain in her stomach forced her into her crouching position. She blinked the fresh new tears that accompanied it away. "Do you know where it is?"

"Oh, no you don't." Haru snatched the envelope out of Azuki's hands and crumpled it into a ball before shoving it into her pockets. "My dear sister would murder me if I left you to die here. So, instead of two deaths, let's make sure we both stay alive, alright?" Her tone was gentle and soft, but the stern, deadly look in her eyes made the so called "demon president" pale in comparison. Haru Saeng was the one everyone should have been afraid of.

Taking no for an answer she took the soup in one hand and dragged Azuki to the infirmary with the other.

"The doctor doesn't seem to be in..." She eyed the perfect bed, closest to the window and her body immediately wanted to jump in. The bed seemed perfect for a certain shinigami to go sleep into 3 years later--

Priorities first though. She sat Azuki down on a chair and rummaged through the medicinal cabinets. Everything was so disorganized though and Haru was too short to reach.

A boy with sunset hair opened the curtains to check out all the noise. He met with the back of Azuki's fluffy blonde hair and instinctively drew the curtains back, his heart thumping like crazy. What a coincidence to meet TWICE in one day!

Haru noticed him though. "Excuse me! Can you help? I need to get the medicine on this shelf, but it's too high... Hurry, it's a life-and-death situation!!!"

Nura opened the curtains immediately after hearing life-and-death and noticed the pain Azuki was in. He meekly covered his right eye and reached for the medicine. "Here..." He mumbled and shoved the medicine roughly into Haru's hands.

"Thank you!" Haru beamed and twisted the cap off of the pill bottle. "Here, this should should help, Azuki-san." Haru placed two tablets in Azuki's hands as Nura went to the sink to get a glass of water for her too. Haru felt bad now. She noticed that Nura most likely was in here because he wasn't feeling well either. "Nura-kun... right? I'm in your homeroom. Um, is your eye alright?"

Nura nearly jumped back, forgetting that he was no longer covering the eye patch on his right eye. "Yeah, I'm fine. It's not like someone stabbed me with a pen or something. Just a minor infection. No biggie." He blushed, he almost said it wasn't like he was Buggie from One Piece, but he didn't wanna out himself as an otaku–

"She... still doesn't look good. Is the pills not working?" Nura placed the back of his hand against Azuki's forehead. It felt hot. He didn't hear Haru say that it might take awhile to kick in, so he dug into the closet and pulled out an IV.

"... What are you gonna do with that?"

"It provides nutrition, right? Hold her back, I'm sticking it in."

"N-Nura-kun that's..." A horrible idea. Haru thought, but maybe this would teach Azuki a lesson on over-exerting herself. "Go for it." Haru held Azuki's hand down as Nura approached with the needle.

Azuki cried out softly as her objective grew farther and farther away from her. As much as her moral system was panicking, her body was cheering with relief as Haru took her to the infirmary.

Once in the infirmary, the pain became... tolerable, kinda, only because it's been going for so long and she was getting used to it. Still, that doesn't mean she was comfortable. She hunched forward, arms clutching her stomach, and eyes squeezed shut in an attempt to relieve herself even just a little bit.

"I'm going to die..." She sobbed to herself. "I didn't even get to finish Boku no Hero Academia..."

She wasn't paying attention to the noise happening around her because she was too busy mentally making a list of all the anime and manga she wold miss because she died prematurely. It was a very long, very regretful list. She only opened her eyes because Haru gave her the pills - the pull to reality forcing her away from her mournful thoughts. She frowned. She didn't like taking pills. If someone more sensible were here, they'd ask for an antacid such as milk of magnesia since what she's currently undergoing is clearly indigestion. Even tums would work since tums are chewable tablets for such an occasion. But unfortunately, a sensible person is not here. Azuki is.

And Azuki was panicking.

She was about to talk about the money. She was very, very close to doing it. The words were at the tip of her tongue the moment she lifted her head and saw him with the glass of water. But as she was finishing the glass of water and heard the turn the conversation took, the only sounds she managed were chokes which didn't help her cause at all.

"W-Wait no!!!" Azuki cried, her eyes as big as disks as Nura took out the IV... the needle. At this point, she forgot all about the money. What money? She really was gonna die, right here and right now.

"I'm doing fine!!! Really!!!!" Azuki flailed her arms and smiled in a failing attempt to sound just as cheerful as she normally did. But her stomach decided to be the devil and stab her with a shot of fresh pain, even verbally grumbling as if to notify the other two that the problem was still definitely there. Or to laugh at Azuki's pain. She leaned forward again in an attempt to soothe herself.

Of course, a sensible person would argue that an IV would not help in this situation. Why would she need nutrients when she was literally breaking down nutrients right now in the most painful way possible? Unfortunately, as said before, Azuki is not a sensible person.

And as Azuki tried to justify herself with high-pitched pleas and cries of hysteria, she wasn't helping her case. At all. Her naming out the long list of series she would miss because she died wasn't a justifiable excuse either.

Nura paused the moment he heard Azuki mutter her will beneath her breath.

Bokuaca...?

Was he mishearing things... Did she really say Boku no Hero Academia? Was she actually an otaku like her...? Or did she say Boku no Pico and was instead a gross fujoshi–

As soon as Azuki started flailing around hysterically Nura nearly poked his good eye with the needle and got annoyed. "Oh my god, so annoying." Nura shook his head and muttered to himself. Since the first time he met eyes with Azuki in their first year there was something about her that... riled something up in him. And he didn't know what it was. But, he knew that his blood boiled and heartbeat would quicken.

Now that he he had seen her up close for the second time, he could clearly identify his feelings now.

Irritation.

There was something about Azuki that rubbed him the wrong way.

The happy-go-lucky smile? That dumbfounded expression? As if she had no care in the world. She didn't even react when rumours about him circulated around the school, she gave him a non-discriminatory smile and looked at him as she would any normal student.

Well, whatever it was about her that irked him, now that Nura knew how he felt, he could stay away from her indefinitely...

"Don't be a chicken, it's a painless shot." Nura nearly rolled his eyes into the back of his sockets and grabbed onto Azuki's wrist. It was so small... and her skin was soft.

He frowned. "You're such a wimp." He growled with a bit of sass.

"Okay, okay, stop." Haru intervened once she realized how serious Nura was with this. She felt Azuki was probably spooked enough that she wouldn't skip class or try to involve herself with dangerous people again after this.

"Why, she's clearly not okay." Nura poked the tip of the needle in, just barely through the outer skin, before Haru yanked it out immediately.

"Girls hate forceful guys the most!!!"

... In the chaos of things. Haru accidentally stabbed Nura's eyepatch. "Ah. Oops."
