some legit sources let you download anime though.
supposedly, CR is also thinking of offering this, but chances of that actually happening is pretty low

I've never really used any anime sites other than CR and YouTube (if one does consider YT to be an anime site) but usually, ff you look into the WHOIS or ScamAdvisor info of a website, it should kind of be obvious. Then there's also the possible shady ads..

Anime costs money to produce. Producers sell it to websites/providers. Websites/Providers sell you access to the anime and they pay for it with the money you give them. If you aren't paying its not legal.

There Anime I would love to buy it from the source if they ever decide to sell them to/in America. That Anime is "Qin's Moon". But since they're not going to produce them on DVD in America that their loss and fuck them! They would've made lot of money.. I'm beginning to think they don't care about other country but themself (China).

There Currently (I was told) 7 season or more.. I'm on Season 5 on youtube site.

Since there no dvd on them, so I'm watching it for free.. Since they won't make them on DVD for America. Those who are translating are the Fans of that series and I'm (Those who watch them) are thanksful for their time they put in to translate into English subtitle.

So are you saying the one we're unable to watch the Anime due to not knowing the language, are forbidden to watch them? Even knowing they won't release them in America and they won't translate them into English Subtitles?

The one that doing Translating are the Fans of that series. They're doing it for free!

We need more people like them. I cannot fathom those company that won't release the rare Anime to the world.

unless the video uploaded is from a company holding the necessary license / rights, the series you find on youtube is also illegal.
they just happen to not be caught by the automated copyright system.

By YouTube, I'm referring to just shows that the Funimation channel puts out.

I don't see it illegal because they're not planning on selling to outsider (China for example on Qin's Moon). Otherwise i would already brought them on DVD from them or Amazon.

How can it be illegal if they're not planning on selling them? That their fault for not distributing all over the world! They would made lot of money especially on this rare gem Anime call Qin's moon.

if you have to watch ads when watching SD contents or pay for HD (720p and 1080p) contents, it's a legal anime site. I was not aware of this before but i heard Crunchyroll used to be an illegal anime site if you can afford it then support the authors if not... do what you want.

personally? I think it's pointless and a waste of time trying to go after people who are making $5-$6 a day. I would just go after the website owners (it will be a lengthy process).
